after almost a month, dumating na din ang araw ng aiming and fitting ng retrofit para ke precious. so eto na ang gattling gun shrouds fitted to my headlamps:







sad to say... hindi pwede sa akin ang shrouds na yan, so the e46 shrouds, or the one i posted before is the final layout.

and so, kanina, ginawa na namin ng kaklase ko ang aiming and alignment ng retrofit project namin.

pasensya na kung may glare pa kasi alignment and aiming palang ang ginagawa namin dyan. wala pa yun shrouds at ang mounting ng projectors eh hindi pa fixed.

as of now, yun aiming and alignment eh natapos na namin. so, babalik pa ko ulit sa classmate ko for the wiring, mounting, and finalization ng retrofit project. as of now, lahat na ng mounting ng projectors are to be done permanently na ngayon. also yun paglalagay ng shrouds at yun pagsasara ng headlamps. narealize ko na mahirap pala ang retrofitting project, pero once it is done correctly, you will aprreciate it very very much.

all i can say, our retrofitting project is now 75% done... konti nalang at matatapos na din eto

sq, sa nakikita ko oo. ang main function eh para matakpan ang assembly ng projectors. 2nd function, based sa nakita ko, eh tatakpan nya yun mga open parts ng projector kung saan pwede mag-escape ang light emitted

this is before, kung saan ang gamit pa eh ang oem headlamps with osram nightbreaker

note: this was taken at morning, habol lang kasi namin is the cut-off comparison




and eto na siya, gamit na ang retrofitted headlamps. infinity fx-r projectors with philips 81522+ d2s type bulbs at 4300k color temp




nag road test na ko kagabi at eto ang mga results niya

eto naman, para ma-test ko ang lapad ng bato ng projectors at low beam

nice choice of parts and clean set up sir! I was talking to Nighthawk about this before where did you find the plastic headlights? we couldn't find one for a retro before and had to use the stock glass lenses.

sa banawe bri_g. matagal na kasi namin eto pinaguusapan ni nighthawk, as early as october last year. dun sa banawe, madami nagkalat na taiwan, pero i choose a china assembly

well nasubukan ko siya kagabi at ang msasabi ko, yup... maganda ang visibility kahit na umuulan. 4300k lang naman kasi ang kulay niyan, whiter lang ng konti sa common color ng head lights. 4300k kasi is also called sunlight color, parang liwanag ng araw ang kulay. pag normal weather sa gabi, wala kang masabi. 4 lanes ng nlex, very well illuminated.

h4? nope... hindi h4 bulb yan. d2s bulbs na yan, which is ang totoong xenon hid. i use philips 81522+ 4300k d2s bulbs.

is it still ok to buy, surplus headlight with has bixenon projector on it??

last question.. kailangan po ba clear yung lens ng headlight assembly.. kasi yung headlight ko ngayon ay glass type, tsaka ang daming lines...

nasa 25k ang nagastos ko para lang dyan, di kasama ang headlamp assembly. ginawa namin yan ng kaklase kong si nighthawkGT.

wala kang mabibiling ganito para sa pajero. eto eh customized lang namin. retrofitted in other terms.

last question.. kailangan po ba clear yung lens ng headlight assembly.. kasi yung headlight ko ngayon ay glass type, tsaka ang daming lines...

yup, kelangan clear para hindi scattered ang bato ng ilaw. ok lang na glass type, basta clear ang headlamps mo. ang mahirap lang sa glass, medyo makapal kaya magkakaroon ng konting loss sa bato ng ilaw

bro let me answer this one.

from what car na surplus headlights yung kukunin nyo? baka hindi pang hid yung projector dun bro. projectors seem to look alike because what we can only see is the outer planoconvex lens. pero may design considerations din yung reflector bowl, shield at yung overall size niya.

if you can provide some details on this one, we can help you choose whats best for you bro.

do you have the projectors with you na? can you post a picture here or do you have any idea what car i was salvaged?
