Saan nyo recommend na shop bumili ng Catz na driving light, prefer. Paranaque/Makati area. Naghahanap kasi ako para sa accord ko. How much ba yung price ng mga driving light?

    Yung ganito mukhang ok: http://www.excellentperformance.com/html/catz/msr.html

I'm really interested in installing driving lights na ok sa car, yung mga nagpakabit na, how much did it cost you? And where did you buy the lamps and saan kayo nagpakabit (and cost)?

    Thanks!!!

i bought a pair of taiwan auxiliary lights (generic) in True Value for 600 petot. they use H4 bulbs (55W each) and come with a mounting bracket.

they of course do NOT fit in the foglight cutout in the bumper of the 626 (di ako nagtanong nung presyo ng OEM, kasi siguradong nakakatakot). however, in the center bumper cutout which ventilates the radiator, there are two holes in the upper part (i think water drain holes).

so i bolted the aux lights to those little holes (the bolt which comes with the bracket is a perfect fit..)

also bought a 150-petot bosch relay. wired it straight to the battery, and triggered the relay with the parking lights. so when i turn on the parking lights now, the aux lights also turn on. quite a big improvement in visibility. but then again my headlights are old.. best less-than-800-petot i've spent on the car.

it's kinda funny.. i looked at the web site, and they have a picture of a Supra there with those lights installed. my 800-petot cheapie lights are mounted in exactly the same position! i mean, those holes were already there in my bumper (they looked like stock holes) so i didn't need to mutilate the bumper. total installation time about 1 hour. i'm not a car electrician.

i have only had my cheapie lights for three or four months though, so i can't comment on the durability. they do improve night driving a whole lot (i suffer from night myopia); i almost never use high beams anymore.
