    *caloy,

thanks for the explanation. i get it now -- projectors don't have those silver reflectorizing thingies, or if they have them are very small.

both the low and high beams are H1.

*theveed, you think that's bad? depo headlights for the 626 are 4.5k a pop.
in a way it was not bad that my car got hit by a truck. they replaced a fender, the bumper, a headlight.. and some other stuff for just cost of participation.

    Guys,
If you're goin to retrofit a hid with a projector headlight make sure you get the D2S bulb. For retrofit without projector use D2r bulb and aim it right.

D2S bulb is specifically made for projector headlights.D2R bulb is design for headlight housing(e code) without projector. If compare these 2 bulbs side by side you'll see the difference. This is for OEM application.

Now if you're goin to retrofit a HID into a stock headight housing probably you need an adapter to fit your D2r or d2s bulb. Not really sure kasi di kopa na try tong route na to.

korak. afaik, most hid kits here have the d2s bulbs. ang pinaka difference ng d2s sa d2r is the d2r bulbs have carbon paint on specific areas of the bulb to minimize glare. these are installed in afaik the HID-ed 06 civic and the corolla altis S (?) not sure ha.
