Are you for or against Daytime Running Lights?

For (Yes): DRL makes every vehicle visible from a glance, promoting safety and awareness of your surroundings

Against (No): We don't get bad weather all that too often and so, DRL adds unnecessary glare and distraction

Neutral/Undecided: Status quo; I'll use it if the car came with it as standard. If not, I don't think I'll go through the trouble of installing one

For motorcycles I think this should be mandatory, they just come out of nowhere and even when some already have their lights on, it's still hard to spot them when they come out of nowhere

For cars, if it came standard with it I would use it. If not, I won't really bother installing one

I am for it. It increases the visibility and safety on the road especially for smaller vehicles like scooters and motorcycles.

IMO it is okay. It doesn't glare or distract that much naman.

IMHO Motorcycles already have DRL. But the freakin owners decide to de-activate it so as to conserve gas daw. If you may notice that most motorcycles have active headlights during the day, especially the new ones.

Where I live and during the rainy season(or even overcast skies), it is very helpful for people/motorists to take notice. I am for DRL's as long as other motorists are not affected negatively by it.

i'd rather that we all have drl working if the car was equipped with one than other drivers driving at night without lights. it is there for safety, not for looks. it simply means that the ignition is on and that the parking brakes is released. this is to let other drivers and pedestrians know that there is a possibility that the car can move forward. i'd rather have cars with drl's on than some einsteins driving at night with fog lights on when there is no fog. i guess most kababayans are in just for the looks and safety secondary to it. safety is a necessity, not an options guys

Mahina siguro ulo kaya akala nila laki natitipid nila kapag patay ilaw.

Do we need DRLs? I don't think so. We just need people to have the common sense to turn on their park lights when the weather turns gloomy.

I'm not a fan of aftermarket DRLs placed on older cars. Looks really tacky to me. Even the DRLs on the Sportage look really tacky. I think it's more form than function anyway for a country like the Philippines.

Neutral/Undecided here, wont install these as this can be an additional fire hazard due to its a modification of the electrical system...
