August 18th, 2015 02:13 AM #45pfft. Tried using the older Phillips XV, it barely lasted half a year. Currently using Osram NBU bought from powerbulb, hopefully it last longer. I know brighter lights (in same wattage) usually dies faster but at those rate, I rather save for a proper retrofit

Hi guys, planning to replace our car's stock low beam bulbs, ano po ba maganda for provincial highway roads na madilim? The car uses projectors btw, mag 1 year pa lang this September.
We replaced the HIDs with Bosch all weather bulbs sa isang sasakyan ok naman siya. Maganda din kaya Fog breakers sa projectors? I rarely use the foglamps din kasi mababa lang naman di nakatutok. Thanks.

At 2600K, masyadong madilaw ang Fogbreaker sa headlamps. Kung gusto mo ng dilaw, try mo maghanap ng Philips Weather Vision. Mas puti ng kaunti at 2900K.

I see, how about Nightbreakers sir? Madami na pala bago like yung unlimited or extreme ba yun? Ok lang ba sila sa almost unlit roads?

According to their manufacturers,
Nightbreaker Unli: 20% whiter, 110% more light than regular stock halogen
Xtreme Vision: 10% whiter, 100% more light than regular stock halogen

Had Nightbreaker Unlimited bulbs for my car before, noticeable improvement compared to my stock halogen headlamps, but definitely not a 110% improvement. More like 20%:
Somewhat expected from a rushed car from a first time carmaker
