mga sir paki diagnose naman po problem ng brake light ng car ko. lagi po naka ilaw kahit hindi nakatapak sa brake pedal. it happened this morning. thanks...

Either its a faulty brake light switch or nabasag na yung grommet sa brake pedal arm.

Kung mahilig ka sa DIY, kayang-kaya mong gawin yan. Sundan mo lang yung brake pedal arm and check yung portion where contact is made. Malamang nabasag na nga yung parang plastic.

Or better yet, have a mechanic do it. Kahit P30 lang ibayad mo, pwede na yun. Less than P50 yung plastic part na yun.

di ba meron lang yan normally closed pushbutton switch sa may brake pedal? try mo silipin sa ilalim, depress mo brake pedal by hand then makikita mo yung switch. wd40 lang katapat nyan.

Actually WD40 only attracts dirt. On mine it was ticking, I replaced it myself (had to contort really well to do this properly) so it's not just an easy repair for any person unless yours is easier to access. The brake pedal switch is usually high up in the footwell area. Lakihan mo naman yung bayad sa mag aayos if you will go that route, medyo mahirap kalikutin yan, from my experience at least.

nasira lang ang stop light bushing niyan ... punta ka sa mechanic mo tell him that ... bibili ka dapat ng stop light bushing parang clip ang isura ... but made of rubber ... yun lang sira niya ...

or yung isang bulb mo grounded ...

i already checked the car and it seems to me that the problem is yung parang plastic spacer na tumutulak sa switch, grommet according to sir galactus, it is broken into pieces. temporarily tucks muna inilagay ko, bukas ko na lang ibibili ng grommet. medyo mahirap nga kasi malalim yung kabitan. maraming salamat po.

this just happened to me a few months back. less than P50 iyong rubber switch stopper/grommet (kalimot ko na specific term para sa kaniya) sa casa (honda). i just replaced it myself in less than half an hour
