I have the Xtreme-Power (HB4) and it performs very well. The Nightbreakers have blue tint in them thus the whiter output and as you know, any blue tint added to a halogen decreases the lumens output.

That would explain why the Silverstars are more expensive than the Night Breakers.

does the nightbreaker blue tint makes your headlight bluish?

sagutin ko na rion, based on my experience, it’s not as white nor bluish than those HID look superwhites naman but yes, a bit whiter than the Silverstar.

    See the "semi" blue tint?

But these bulbs are a lot better than those superwhites with blue tint all around the glass.

Ah, you mean the reflection during daytime? might differ on the reflector type but in my crosswind, yes if you get close to it but barely unnoticeable naman sa malayo because the light blue coating at the base and tip of the nightbreaker is not as dark (blue) and solid like those of the superwhites.

Sq, yan yung mga useless na nausong superwhites noon. iba iba lang ang pangalan, crystal vision, diamond vision, plus white etc etc… yung extreme power ng philips parang vision plus +50% nila dati but with more light throw at 80%. na tinapatan naman ng osram nightbreaker +90% naman. mga bit whiter lang mga ito sa stock but not as white as superwhites.

here are more info on those Philips bulb variants

    Crystal Vision :4300k
    Diamond Vision: 5000k (not legal/sold in U.S & Europe)
Power2Night: 4300k, but this time using vision plus technology

owned a Diamond Vision, but our very very old stock philips bulb is still brighter than it.

hi guys, am planning to replace/upgrade my headlights (since my low beam is already busted) w/ the philips xtreme. pls bare with me as I would ask for some question's.
    1. my ride is a 2000 model adventure, what type of bulb do I need to purchase?
    2. will I need to upgrade my wirings/sockets?
    3. is it good on raining conditions * night?
    4. can I replace my old bulbs by DIY procedures?
    5. can you pls tell me, when would this bulb likely to last

pasensya na po newbie kasi thanks & more power to all...

got one also php1300 bili ko, and true enough mas ok na ok talaga sya lalo na kung tintend windshield mo.

*edsky, malamang H4 yung bulb mo, kung bibili ka nung xtreme bulb, para ka lang nagpalit ng incandecent bulb, you can even do it yourself.

and yes it is better on raining and night driving than the stock H4 bulb.
