Peeps,
Ask ko lang kung ano advantage/disadvantage of turning off d headlights pag naka-stop or traffic. Pansin ko kc to...please share any ideas.
Alam ko kapag panay on/off di ba madaling mapundi (common practise)?
But then saves you current?
Pero pag on naman matagal di ba umiinit yung bulb? Ano ba talaga kuya?

January 10th, 2003 02:57 PM #2di ko rin alam but someone posted somewhere na hinuli daw siya kasi pag madilim na daw kelangang laging naka-on ang headlights (pinatay niya ang kanya but naka-on ang park lights) and the others said na nasa law daw na kelangan laging naka-on...

January 10th, 2003 04:22 PM #4yup. ang pagkakaalam ko dapat pagkagat ng dilim, nakabukas na headlights, maski traffic. that is according to some LTO regulations.

advantage: you save power
disadvantage: baka makalimutan mo i-on ulit. delikado yun :mrgreen:

Disadvantage
1. Madaling mapundi ang ilaw pag patay sindi.
2. Mas mapapadali ang buhay ng light switches. (as pointed out by happy_gilmore)
3. Isa pa sa butas yan para hulihin ka ng pulis.
4. Di kita ng kapwa motorista kung may sasakyan sa tabi lalo na pag maitim ang sasakyan.
5. Napapaghalatang kuripot ka sa ilaw kaya mo pinapatay. :D
Advantage
1. Madaling magtago di ka makikilala ng motorista pag patay ang ilaw.
2. Di ka masisilaw sa sarili mong ilaw lalo na pag stainless jeep ang nasa harap mo.
3. Mura lang naman bumbilya ng H4, kahit saan auto supply meron.
4. Less load on your alternator. ( as to what gestapo posted )
5. Para ka na rin jeepney driver, nagtitipid ng kuryente kahit di ka naman sisingilin ng power producers. :mrgreen:

ako 1 lang reason, pag nakabuntot sa owner, otherwise, I don't... lights don't take that much power to stay on naman eh... kung gusto mo mag save ng load ng alternator, patayin ang aircon... mas malakas yun...
