Loaner Car from Insurance Company

Dear Tsikoters,

Ask ko lang kung paano magdemand ng loaner car from the insurance company. 1 week na kasi yung car ko sa casa at hanggang ngayon wala pa ring update kasi oorderin pa daw yung parts so baka matagalan pa yun. I filed the claim under own damage. Ang hirap kasing magcommute at almost 4 na oras ang nasasayang sa isang araw kapag nagcocommute ako. Tinanong ko yung casa (Ford) kung pwede yun sabi nila wala daw silang loaner car. Ano kaya pwede kong gawin mga sir? Salamat.

read your contract, especially the fine print. to find out if you are entitled to one. if the paper says you are entitled to one, then you can demand and sue for one. if there is no mention, then in all likelihood, you won't get one.
in the meantime, why not get a taxi? there are a number of taxi companies that will send a unit to your place if you call them up ahead of schedule..

Dr. D was very right,if it:s not in the contract then there is none. Loaner cars are usually in the contract for the leased car
in the U.S. I found 1 here but not an insurance co. but a pdr man who rent out cars for those cars that has to be done for days..
his rate is Php1000.00 per day......no papers no anything except only for the duration of the estimated time for the dent to be finished.
