150K ! sounds like a casa quotation. i am confident, you can have it repaired for considerably less, elsewhere.

Need you help and advice. My friend and I (I was on the backride) encountered accident sa nakapark na montero sport 2009 model last November which is our fault so we need to settle the auto repair cost. Ang tama ng montero is nayupi and nagka-dent yung itaas ng rear bumper (back side panel i think). Naipasok ng may-ari sa insurance but aside sa participation fee, They advised we need to settle the depreciation fee as well since yung 2009 model yung car and because gusto ata ng owner na palitan yung rear side panel at ipagawa sa casa.

Owner advised that according sa insurance niya, 21,500.00 pesos daw ang quotation and depende pa raw sa Mitsubishi if may idadagdag sila para maayos. Meaning there is a tendency na magbayad pa kami ng additional aside sa 21.5k na sinisingil ng insurance.

Question po: Possible po ba yun na maningil pa ang casa ng additional since ang quotation ng insurance ng owner is 21,500.00 pesos (We assume kasama na yung depreciation fee sa quotation)?

Thank you so much sa sino pong makakapagbigay ng advice and God bless you!

Guys, tanong lang po - What if the one hit me don't have insurance, it's the insurance company's responsibility to go after him right? and I don't need to wait if the other party will pay up or not right? in short, it's their problem at I-RE-RELEASE nila agad ang sasakyan upon repair kahit hindi pa sila naka-singil doon sa nakabangga?

Yes. Casa will start to repair your vehicle if may authorization na from the insurance and it will be released once you settle the remaining participation fee.

I think that type of coverage pays for damage to your vehicle or his/her vehicle besides an accident. That examples includes to a natural incident. Consider the value of your vehicle and make the decision you think is right. To get more details, find it here Car Insurance Shopping Guide: How To Get The Best Deal

Before my brother got involved in a self accident, malaki damage. Paiyakan sa approval.

All angles titingnan ng adjuster. For them DUI kaya nabangga si utol, told them then prove it kung mapatunayan nila.

ilan beses kami binalikan sa bahay.

Even bargained with us na kami na bahala sa kanya in case maka claim kami.

Can't blame them, trabaho nila yun and of course madaming fraud attempts na nakita nila.

IIRC 3 months bago kami nabayadan since na total loss yung sasakyan.

^ possible na yung insurance is paid in installments.

Kung installment kasi kailangan bayaran muna yubg remaining premium before the claim.

    So participation + unpaid premium

If this is will be the case, aside from 21.5k na hinihingi ng owner for participation fee. Do we still need to pay for the replacement part from casa? Owner is insisting to replace the damaged panel eventhough it can be repaired.

And do we really have to shoulder the unpaid premium as well?

    Maraming salamat po.

to be fair, pay for the participation fee.
but i do not think you should pay for his insurance premium, even if only in part, because he is supposed to pay for it "from his own pocket", whether he gets in an accident or not.
a 2009 vehicle being repaired with a brand new 2016 panel! i am not sure how the depreciation part of the contract deals with this. i suppose i would like to bring home that panel, as "i paid for it" when i shouldered the cost of depreciation..

Thats what the owner insists. Tried to ask if it can be repaired by tin smith in casa but owner doesnt want it as he wants to replace the damaged panel which i know that cost will be a huge pain. Owner is asking to settle the fee which is 21k and awaiting for the quotation from casa to be sent to our email as of now.

I'm not even a driver and my friend had no idea with this kind of situation

Thank you sir for the response.

he can't insist you pay for the rest of his insurance premium, because he is required to pay for that, even if he had never crossed bumpers with you or anyone else.
21K for a replacement panel? isn't that... too cheap, by casa prices? i don't know...

Check also the terms and conditions of your insurance... baka nakalagay dun kung kelan talaga effictivty date... is it the stipulated date of insurance coverage kahit late payment or upon payment date yung effectivity...

Got in an accident. Turning left ako to a food place when this pastry shop delivery truck hit my right tail light and bumper. No one got hurt, fortunately.

Insured kami pareho. Tama ba na 1 of us has to file quit claim? If they file quit claim papano yung damage sa kanila?

We didn't file police report and noob me didn't get the plate number nor photo of the driver's dl. Got dashcam footage pero blurry yung plate number. Nakausap ko naman HR nila and they seem cooperative. Hoping for the best na lang ako na matino ngang kausap ang may-ari ng truck.

Yung insurance provider ko dati may pro forma claim form for parties involved in accident, may salaysay bawa't isa, may drawing ng event, and both parties sign the form,
