    By standard practice, can casas start vehicle repairs even if the insurance company has not sent it's approval?

    From my experience, the casa will always wait for the approval of the insurance company before starting repairs.

    kailangan parati may LOA.. kasi ni a assess nang insurance kung talaga bang necessary yung repair.. or yung mga parts na papalitan.. pag walang LOA hindi gagawin nang CASA yan kasi baka hindi bayaran nang insurance pag ginawa nila na walang LOA.

    ^ agree. i'm from a bank / insurance co. i remember reading in the claims guide to NOT have your vehicle repaired prior to the insurance company's approval. kasi baka nga ma-deny per reason stated above.
