October 26th, 2015 08:06 PM #1hi guys,
is this Metrobank promo a great deal?...with free chattel and 1st year insurance...but you will be lock to their insurance provider for the 2nd and 3rd year...they will use their subsidiary phil charter insurance...
comparing Metrobank from the lowest rate we got from all the banks we inquired from, which is BDO (deals on wheels promo)...if we calculate the interest in 5 years we will save 12,000 if we get BDO from the rates alone, not including chattel and insurance...but considering the added chattel and insurance we will save 31,000 with Metrobank...
so obviously we are leaning toward getting Metrobank...our concern is the 2nd and 3rd year lock with the Metrobank car insurance philcharter...
has anybody have an experience with this deal?...did the insurance fee for the 2nd and 3rd year go down from the free first year quote, due to car depreciation?...or did they charge more in the 2nd and 3rd year to compensate the 1st year that was free?....
is philcharter a good car insurance company?...any experience with them?...
can I get a quote for the 2nd and 3rd year of my car insurance from Metrobank considering an average of 10% car depreciation?...
our unit will arrive this thursday...and we want it as soon as possible...we are already approved from other banks...but we ca
thanks...

if you did your homework on penciling everything and you find that you can save with Metrobank, then its ok.
wala namang problem ma lock dun sa insurance provider nila.... its all part of their business...
wala din namang problem yung philcharter.

Oh, hindi na Charter Ping An ang insurance company ng promo ngayon? Yung kaibigan ko ang nag-avail nito last year. CX-5 kinuha niya tapos down siya 500k, monthly niya is parang 19k ata, then insurance for 2nd and 3rd year nasa 50k per year. Tingin ko naman, kung kaya mo pa makipagtawaran ng interest rate kay Metrobank, at kaya mo ang insurance rate niya for 2nd and 3rd year, then go ahead. Oh BTW, anong sasakyan ba pinaguusapan natin dito?

October 27th, 2015 12:27 PM #5When we renewed our car insurance for the 2nd and 3rd year, we still got it through our bank (BDO). We were not forced to do it but it was so convenient.
Php19K comprehensive insurance which can be paid on 12 month installment basis. San ka na.
Used it once when our windshield suffered a crack. The estimated cost of repair was around 19K. We paid Php3K as participation if I am not mistaken.
In short, do not be bothered by their insurance company.
