Niyari mo na naman ako bro.

Basta I am doing my fair share in nation building by paying the right amount of tax, up to the last centavo.... Suweldo pa lang nga e nakaltasan na...

The problem is the government cannot anymore increase the rate of personal and corporate taxes and so they are looking for ways and means to collect more, and more effectively,- to fund infrastructure projects, else we will be in this never ending vicious cycle....

Mitigate corruption and make sure that everyone pays the rightful amount of taxes. The partial answer to this economic puzzle is in our reflection on the mirror.

but some car prices are going up / have gone up, because of the dollar exchange rate. na-ubos na raw yung stocks nila that they brought in when the dollar was cheaper.

No ROHQ mentioned but I'm expecting more stringent screenings prior to granting ROHQ status to both employees and employers.

Abolishing the rohq rate is on the house bill 5636, you can find it on section 25 c,d and e.
Probably this is also on the senate version as angara said that there are small tax incentives that will be removed. Malas lang ng mga nasa rohq unless the company will shoulder the additional tax.

Employees enjoying the 15% preferential income tax rate who were hired before Jan 1 2018 will get to keep enjoying the 15% rate until the end of their employment. Employees hired after Jan 1 2018 are those who are left out in the rain as they won't be getting the 15% rate any more.

2018 is just around the corner, so are they gonna implement it in january, or are they gonna wait for the signature of the president before they go through with this. This is supposed to to be an amendment right?

If they plan on implementing this on Jan. 1, they will need to have this signed by the president before Dec. 15.

Nasa bicameral committee pa rin diba? Wala pang final form kung magkano ang increase. It's an overall tax package with includes lowering of income tax...
