I think they are counting on volume sa cars below 1M.

May sound inhumane pero it is what it is.

My reason's to prefer the Senate's version.

    1. Yung bibili ng Fortuner, bibili ng Innova kung bitin budget nya - 1 car on the road pa din
    2. Kung tataas tax ng sub-1M cars, tatamaan fleet buyers AND kailangan magdagdag ng ipon ang first time car buyers.

I am not taking bro about the lc200s.

Am talking about the Fortuner and its competition, the Innova and its competition, the HiLux and its competition, the HiAce and its competition...
Am actually at an advantage here as our next purchase would most probably be over P1M.

Let's check the sales figures so that we can prove or disprove this argument. In my mind, their share of the market is significant....

Anyway, they are doing that (DAW) to discourage smuggling.

Which goes to show an even steven share of buying preferences....

My point is,- if they want to have more tax revenue for cars,- then they should not make the prices of > P1M vehicles lower than what they are right now... Make a cutoff at P3M if they want to prevent smuggling of "true luxury vehicles"....

    ^isipin mo na lang...

With the Senate's version... Mababawasan iipunin ni Mayor/Congressman/Senator... Para bumili ng Fortuner/Montero/etc 😂
