    when ma implement ang excise tax, I tried searching by there is no specific date mentioned
    rumors is june 2017 while some articles states at the beginning of 2018

    The lower Congress is planning to finalize by June 2017 and with effective date of January 2018.

    pagnafinalize na sa june 2017, 2018 pa mag increase price ng sasakyan? tama po ba? kasi im planning to get a pickup truck and kung hindi naman sa june implement pede pa ako magipon para yung tofl na ang makuha ko

    Worry more on the price increase due to foreign currency fluctuation.

    Im worried about that pero yung excise tax talaga ang masakit almost 500k dagdag, parang buy 1 pay 2

    Ang toyota nag increase na kahit ala pa excise tax. Para daw di mabigla consumers pag implemented na. Taking advantage of the situation imo.

    The increase is mostly because of Ph Peso depreciation vs US Dollar. % wise it is only about 2% on average. The planned excise tax hike is much much higher.

    Toyota increased price of their indemand units by 15k-50k.

    Then why only toyota and why only this time? Moreover that is not what yhe SA's are saying.
