I filed last wednesday and got a text last friday na approved na daw. So may LOA na sa preferred ko na pagpapagawan?

Wala kwenta BPI MS!!!!
Nabangga sa Los Banos Laguna noong October 16 ng isang Montero ang Trailblazer LTZ ng father ko at aminado nakatulog ang driver at willing siya bumayad nung participation fee namin sa insurance para masettle na agad ang aksidente. Immediately the following day nadala sa Commonwealth Chevy ang TB LTZ namin at complete with all our papers at tinawagan agad ng Chevy ang BPI MS. Believing in good faith na maaksiyunan agad ang repair (around 350k estimate ng Chevy) binayaan na lang muna namin sa casa yung sasakyan. 3 weeks passed and we aked Chevy kung ano status. Lo and behold wala pa daw pinapunta na adjuster/assessor ang BPI MS kahit almost every other day sila tumatawag. Sabi pa ng Chevy na pinagpapasahan daw sila ng office ng BPI MS kung saan lugar tatawagan ang adjuster. May nagbigay ng Caloocan na number at ng di matawagan QC na number naman. Nung pinuntahan na ng brother ko ang main office nila ng end ng October at nagtanong saka lang sila nagpadala ng Adjuster sa Chevy on the same day. Benefit of the doubt ulit pinagbigyan namin ng 2 weeks ang BPI MS para sa approval nila ng LOA. Anak ng tipaklong pagtawag sa Chevy wala pa din daw LOA. Dito na nagalit tatay ko at binantaan na ang supervisor sa opisina ng BPI MS na kakasuhan na niya ang opisina nila sa Insurance Commission dahil hindi sila nagcocomply sa obligasyon nila under the insurance policy. After 2 days nakareceive ang Chevy ng LOA for dismantling ng broken parts pero ang labor cost covered lang ay 5k e estimate ni Chevy aabuting ng 26k ang labor cost ng dismantling ng parts. Eh puneta ano yon 2 parts at ilan tornilyo lang tatanggalin!
Kada tawag namin sa 2 na tao ng BPI MS sa main office nila na may handle ng issue e either wala sila o may kausap daw. llan beses na din kami pinagpapasahan. Mag 2 months na by next week yung sasakyan sa casa wala pa din aksyon ang BPI MS. pag wala pa nakuha na matino na aksyon this week mag-papasko sila na may kaso mga gago sila!!!
My total loss claims with BPIMS lasted for 2 mos. i think it's the norm on such claims. Though it took to long and constant persistent follow up, but atleast I've got what i've paid for.

Sir, what happened sa total loss claim nyo? I'm currently in this situation, just got an email from insurance that it's better to declare as total loss. Car is 27 months old, the repair estimate is around 477K. Pero wala pa sila complete details, to follow daw once cleared na. Same po tayo BPIMS Insurance.
I've already got my claim. It's sort of a waiting game since they need to abide with their SOP's also their due process. Downside are getting updates from bpims u need to be persistent in calling them also get the email address of the csr that you are assigned too. Email & call them everyday, don't let them call you. Put pressure if needed but be patient and humble they might give you hard time though we're their clients but still you know naman sa Pinas.
Yes just declare it a total loss! Get your claim then buy a new car then move on. It's less hassle this way.
If you cannot call their hotline try this 8409914 i think its the security ofc no. but they will patch you thru.

Waiting game nga sir, as of now waiting for clearance from 2 officers un claim ko since above 500k daw. Question sir, nung ng offer ba sila sainyo close dun sa insured amount and hindi na kayo ng contest? Also, after the offer, gano katagal po bago nabigay un cheque sainyo? TIA
hi sir, I was in an accident last December, nag file na po ako ng claim sa BPI MS, just waiting for the approval. Ang sabi po sa akin last time is anticipated total loss na daw po ang car ko pero di lang makapagbigay ng confirmation sakin ang claims agent dahil syempre ayaw lang nila maging liable if ever mag iba pag dating sa approval. 3rd year palang po nun and lumalabas na lagpas 400k yung worth (based sa policy). Ngayon po sana, kukuha na ko ng sasakyan kasi medyo madugo po yung pamasahe ko papasok ng office. Okay lang naman po sakin mag labas ng money kaso gusto ko lang po sure na mababayaran ako ng BPI MS. Ito po mga questions ko:
1. Sure na po kaya yun na total loss if mga 300K ang estimated damage and ang policy ko for the 3rd year is worth 400K?
2. I understand po na may depreciation value pero yung 400K po kaya malalayo sa total na ibabayad sa akin?
3. Based po sa mga experience nyo, gaano po katagal bago nacomplete yung process?
4. Ano pong suggestion nyo? Okay lang po kaya na kumuha na ko ng pamalit nung sasakyan kahit wala pa po yung final approval?

Had the worst experience with BPI/MS. Filed a total loss claim during the 1st week of December 2016, and until now the head office does not give an approval, allegedly due to their adjuster having delays. I just find it amusing that they blame the adjuster, their OWN adjuster, for their sheer incompetence. And the SA was arrogant too.
True to their nature, they are just good when it comes to collecting premiums, but not when you're the ones collecting claims.
Opposite experience with BPI, I had a smooth insurance claim transaction with them. In fact, they even ask me if I have submitted the car to the casa
How about you get claim #, provide timeline from initial filing until recent follow up, indicate your due diligence of paying annual premiums-- from there ask a definitive date when this will be resolved. Otherwise, tell them that you exerted a lot of time and continuous follow up and no progress so you are considering legal assistance.

had the same experience but with a different insurance company. filed a total loss claim last december 2016, first of january 2017 - got an offer amount for total loss claim, tried to reconsider our appeal of basing it with what is stipulated in our policy but the initial offer which is based on the Fair Market Value prevailed. waited for 2 weeks for the reconsideration. submitted the conformity letter that we accepted the initial offer. waited for another 3 weeks for the insurance cheque to be generated and still waiting for the bank to generated/refund the amount back to our account which will take another 15 working days.
I opted out of the free 1 year insurance promo from BPI as soon as I realized that their service is crap. Much better to pay the one year rather than take the risk with those guys for five years.

BPI MS is terrible. It takes months to get them to process. They don't move if you don't follow up frequently.
We didn’t have that much hard a time with BPI MS. I had my wife’s innova fixed & claimed it via BPI insurance. My wife was the one doing the emails & they replied naman agad.

Good experience naman kami with them when my father unfortunately hit a biker. Buti ok naman yung nabangga nya pero palit hood, bumper, right headlight, at windshield yung kotse namin.
I just called them, was asked to email pertinent documents that same day, they visited my car the following day for estimates, and then was advised after 2 days to go to my preferred repair shop based from their list of authorized auto shops.
