pag utang kasi yung auto, at na aksidente ka. mas safe sa kanila na may insurance. kung i default mo nalang yun loan dahil sa damages, at di mo na bayaran; atleast may insurance na mag aayos nun for them at mabebenta pa nila.

if you are still making monthly payments on the car, technically, the car is not yours but the bank's. the banks just want to be sure that, if the car meets an unfortunate event, their investment is covered by insurance. some banks may even dictate which insurance company is "acceptable" to them.
but if you bought the car in full, you own the car. you can drive it into the river and no one will run after you.
    heh heh.

if you are someone who knows how to walk on water...

    TPL. third party liability.
    you are the first party.
yung insurance company ang second party.
the third party is the naka-bangga nyo. siya ang makikinabang sa insurance. naka-saad in fine detail ang sasagutin ng tpl insurance nyo. basahing mabuti, gumamit ang magnifying glass.
gaano katagal ang release ng salapi? very good question! i wish i knew the answer...

Congrats sa new ride.

hingi kayo ng complete schedule of payments, of their various programs, po.
include the getting-into-mortgage fees and getting-out-of-mortgage fees.
total all them monies and you will get an idea of how much you are going to pay.
