    Ma'am/Sir,

    Good PM,

Your insurance company should take care of it. You only need to sign the release papers and drive your car out of the casa.

Hi sir, what if the one hit me don't have insurance, it's the insurance company's responsibility to go after him right? and I don't need to wait if the other party will pay up or not, is that correct? in short, I-rerelease nila agad ang sasakyan upon repair kahit hindi pa sila naka-singil doon sa nakabangga?

That is correct po assuming you have the LOA from your insurance company.

Thank you for your reply sir. So I'll just get my car next week and no need to contact the other party for the participation fee? Their insurance will take care of it, right?

I suggest you talk to the insurance incharge at the casa to confirm that everything will be shouldered by the other party to be sure.

I am just worried if I'll be the one to collect it from other party or their insurance will be the one to settle it.

It sounds like the agreement to collect the participation fee is not well explained. Is your insurance company aware that the other party will answer for your participation fee? If so, then you are safe. If not, chances are you pay first then collect.

Actually, it's their insurance not mine. I just submitted all requirements to other party and they are the one who submitted it to their insurance. What I deed is make some follow up with them until my car has the schedule for repair at casa.

    Thanks in advance po

Bank requires Comprehensive Insurance if your car is mortgaged with them, if it is, they usually remind you to renew your comprehensive insurance annually since only TPL is paid for three years for brand new vehicles. TPL insurance is required by law for every renewal, in your case, since you said that your car is already three years old, I would presume it is already due for renewal. In case your car is not mortgaged with any bank, Comprehensive Insurance is not a must for renewal, although it is highly recommended you get one, I don't believe the bank will penalize you for not renewing your insurance with them.

on a tight budget pa po kasi for now kaya hindi ko pa ma renew yung compre at the same time I'm shopping around pa for a better and cheaper insurance package.

I am not sure if I got your question correctly. Are you asking if advisable kumuha ng TPL Insurance sa mga Insurance offices near LTO? If that is your question, then the answer is NO kasi usually mas mahal ang premium ng mga Insurance companies beside LTO offices based on my observation. Nevertheless, it is a must for you to get your TPL insurance as it is a prerequisite for your renewal.

If the cost of repair is only 4k max, wag mo na ipasok sa insurance. Hassle pa to process everything and get the approvals. And may chance na tataas pa premium mo for next year.

Bakit wala pa yung policy mo? Dapat binibigay sa yo agad yun as soon as you pay for it.
