    Jhanski,

This is what you do, get a quotation from the dealer for a replacement of the damaged bumper.(maybe around php 18,000.00)
Let them choose between paying php 4700.00 or for the new bumper plus labor.

When you decide to sue for damages tell them now that you will submit that quote
For settlement. That should help them decide.

    File your claim.

If you let them pay off the participation fees mo lang di ba ikaw pa rin ang lugi nun? cause next renewal mo ng insurance, tagged as risky client ka na.. in a way it may trigger them to increase your premiums.

Extended help and consideration na lang na ipasagot mo na lang sa kanila yung participation fee by using your insurance. The proper way is for them to pay off all the damages without you using your insurance (which of course is very impossible).

By the way, do these insurance companies come after sa mga drivers/owners who don't have insurances? Do they bill them for the damages?

    1. That is not true . The insurance industry is a regulated industry. Whoever is telling you that
na lugi ka for whatever does not know what they are telling you.
2.The proper way is for you is to file a claim on your own policy since the other party has no third party
Property damage cover. Now if they have third party PD, then you claim on their
policy without participation and no cost to them subject to the limits of the policy.

    3. Some insurer will bill, some don't bother.
    4. Always make sure you have a compliant policy. Know your servicing agent.
His name will either be on the insurance policy or on the official receipt.

Di yan tataas premium mo dahil lang naaksidente or nakaaksidente ka, di naman tayo US.

It will not be anymore, your word against his word kasi may investigator's report na, at di mo pwede i-question yung report ng investigator as they have the professional qualification to determine the root cause and the source of accident.

Kung i-question ang result, it just like questioning the qualifications of the investigators. Ganyan yan kasimple.
