Bottomline, if it feels good for you, then buy it. Your car most likely doesn't need it though.

sometimes it feels good to drive with the more expensive fuel blend. it surely improves the performance based on butt dyno

If you didnt know you filled up with premium fuel, would you have noticed the difference?

When my brother drives my car, he doesn't notice any difference no matter what brand or octane I use. I'm pretty sure that in a blind test, people won't notice the difference of regular fuel and premium fuel.

Heck, sometimes we sell 95 as 91 whenever we're out of 91. Noone notices.

Is that the reason why clatex doesnt have a "premium" variant of fuel like VPNitro or Petrons TurboDiesel because its diesel fuel, which is priced the same as fuelsave and dieselmax, is already a "premium" one?

Not really. Isa lang kasi talaga additive ni Caltex and medyo mahina marketing nila kasi hindi nila naoovercharge mga tao with a separate premium product. 😂

Currently, I'm patronizing Caltex because of the HappyPlus points.

For me shell and petron not because of their diesel. Because they have the strickest station when it comes to illegal damping of fuels.

That's true. Most people fall for the marketing hype. Those involved in the petroleum industry know that dumping and poor standards are what you should really watch out for.

not exactly true. may dumping pa rin sa mga top 3 stations. depende yan kung marunong si dealer/franchisee or kung pinabayaan lang ng area/territory manager

I personally think Jetti Petroleum has one of the best Diesel Fuel out there in terms of performance. The station might not look like it sometimes but the quality is really good.
