*bai/cvt: yup. consistent sila even with the diesels and even with the high octanes like velocity tsaka yung pula. not sure with their oils though (like helix, etc..)
*fafa miks: footah, 6 to 7 pesos ang margins nila per liter? if that is the case, ano yung mga sinasabi ng mother companies nila na underrecoveries?

are these dealer calls or mother office calls? langya kung pwede pala ganun eh, why not lower the price of gasoline in all outlets?

some gas stations sell at a lower price to get customers to go there... some use the reason of lower operating costs (because they own the land). That's the reason why the gas station at the corner of P. Guevarra & Santolan in San Juan is one of the cheapest in Metro Manila for gasoline.

Buti hindi sila napagsasabihan ng oil company ;-) kasi this will definitely dry the well up for the other near by gas stations (of the same oil company)?

Kala ko pa nagkamali lang sila ng post ng presyo, mas mura nga pala.

dati akala ko diyan hindi ko inabutan ung pagtaas ng gas kasi hating gabi na un. nung dumating ako sa cavite mas mataas ung gas saka madaling araw na. so akala ko tumaas lang presyo non at nung nadaan ako sa macapagal hindi pa tumataas. un pala mura talaga sa kanila.

Parati nga silang mababa. dati usually 50 cents lower compared sa iba. Ngayon 2 pesos na. Nagpapakarga din ako doon madalas, kahit medyo out of the way ng konti pauwi. Although mas madalas ako sa jetti. tingin ko jetti ang naghihila ng presyo ng shell pababa.

i'm just curious. last night going home, passed at Macapagal Avenue. dahil medyo traffic, surveyed the cost of gas sa mga gasoline stations dun (Petron, Jetti ba yun and Shell).

while Petron's price is consistent with the prices within metro manila, yung shell and jetti, is almost 2 pesos lower, which causes motorists to go to their stations like ants. yung petron medyo nilalangaw eh.

my questions:

1. ano yun? palugi yung dealer? imagine selling fuel 2 pesos lower than the market price? i know that this is the beauty of a deregulated industry, pero maski na sabihin mong quantity is better, di kaya mas malaki lugi nila?
2. what does their mother company (shell), think about that?
3. if it can be done by one gas station, then other gas stations must be over pricing?
4. di naman kaya may daya yung pumps nila?
5. or di naman kaya may daya yung fuel quality nila? tingin ko hindi naman. dahil i had bought by gas there mga 5 times na, no significant changes naman sa takbo ng oto.

Im sure this is coz of the jetti oil near Shell Macapagal, Price War ang nagyayari dun.

Gross Margin/lt. ng isang gas station is no where near 2pesos basta shell, i dont know about the other brands. The dealer cant go that low if no help coming from the Mother Co. Pero syempre Price war, may losses ang co. dyan pero may benipisyo sa consumer. Motorist near that area or work near the area enjoy it till it last.

Nagtataka lang ako, if there is a price war why petron is not joining the war?
I will check the area tommorow.

sa bagay, it really depends on the mother comapny's scheme of passing the products to their dealers/service station... kung * WPP or WPP less a certain discount. i retract my statement that they are making 6-7 pesos/liter. i was merely basing it on an estimeted landed cost to their receiving port based on current MOPS figures

regular costumer ako diyan kasi along the way , pinakamura sila so far sa mga pinagpapakargahan ko, yung diesel nila e P30.94/liter
