blaze user here for my kia picanto..

if i use xcs or petron extra, i here some knocking noise (ticking) when accelerating around 1,800 rpm. only when accelerating and the engine is very hot.

no noise when using blaze.

i noticed that I get more miles from blaze, my 27 Liters (full tank) can go up to 300 kms while on xcs can go around 200 kms

when using blaze, i don't need to step that hard on the accelerator compared when using xcs or xtra unleaded.

xcs also have a pungent smell on morning startup while its almost odorless when using blaze.

I think its 93 octane minimum.. medyo heavy footed ako at hataw din pag may chance pero sa xcs lang naman sya may knocking, sluggish, high fc at may pungent smell.. tried unioil 95 euro5 fuel ok naman parang blaze din.. naka fleet card kasi ako (benefit) from petron kaya no choice but to use blaze

Based on the figures above, Yapoy’s Picanto is only doing around 7.5 km/L on XCS. That’s a bit high for a small car.

that's terrible!
although, the old hyundai getz got something like that, according to published literature.
there's also this brouhaha some years ago, about a picanto owner who complained loudly to kia and in the media, that his picanto wasn't "as frugal as what he was made to believe".

our wigo AT, started out at 7 km/li, zero odometer reading.
today, having done 30K km, it regularly does 10-11-12 km/li in the city.

Nope, that's too short a time even if you hit 6k rpm on a rapid acceleration. Mausok? Diesel ba vehicle mo? If gas, maybe your engine is burning oil or your intakes/injectors dirty.

Kung nasa highway (SLEX/NLEX) ka naman almost weekly, oks na yun since you cruise at a faster speed than being stuck in traffic.

Petron XCS user ako until nagtaas yung gas due to train. 7 pesos kasi difference ni Petron kay Sea Oil kaya nag try ako ng 97 RON nila. Same naman sila ng hatak ni XCS.

Last week naubusan ako ng Extreme 97 nila eh tataas na gas kaya napilitan akong mag-unleaded 91 RON. Pina full tank ko ok din naman kaya lang napansin ko yung mileage meter ko parang tinopak. 258km na lang daw range pero halos 1/8 pa lang nababawas sa gas ko. Dati din naman ganyan sa XCS at 97 RON ng sea oil.

Ok naman yung takbo nya dun lang ako nagtaka. Usually nasa 290km+ pa yan pag 97 ron eh.
