It goes without saying that diesels are dirty (at least here in the Philippines, anyway). And yes, I'm referring to both the fuel and the engine. Okay, there are some newer cars out there that run on cleaner and newer diesel technology, but in reality, most of the ones that ply our roads don't. Our government, or more specifically the Climate Change Commission (CCC), actually has plans to rehabilitate some 500,000 PUVs that will reduce soot emissions by up to 80%, but that project will cost us P26 billion. So what if I tell you there's a way to get the same result without spending an extra penny? That's right, the answer is cleaner diesel fuel, and it's called EURODiesel IV from Unioil.

While the Department of Environment and Natural Resources's (DENR) mandate to use Euro IV fuel is still three years away, all Unioil stations nationwide now carry EURODiesel IV - the cleanest and most advanced diesel fuel in the country.

ngapa full tank ulit ako sa Unioil last weekend after using a full tank of shell. hindi ko pansin kung mas matipid sya or mas malakas humatak. Pero pansin ko na talagang mas tahimik at mas pino tumakbo santa fe ko pag Unioil. Hindi mo iisipin diesel engine, parang gasolina kung tumakbo at tahimik. Sulit yung byahe na mas malayo para makapag karga ng unioil. Plus, less black smoke pag biglang floor ng pedal to the metal. konti na lang smoke at di masyado maitim.

Nasabi ko na ba na tahimik at pino talaga? hehe

salamat sa Unioil for bringing the Euro 4 Diesel to our soil. Masaya si santa fe ko pag naka unioil kaysa sa Shell/seaoil or Petron.

I had my Chevrolet Trailblazer LTZ filled up with Euro 4 diesel of Unioil Sucat Road this morning for the first time. Before it was all premium diesels of the other oil companies. My initial observation was that mas refined ang andar and the engine hum was reduced. The advantage for me with this fuel is that it is priced lower than the "turbo diesel". I will continue to observe though for the FC. Sa smoke no problem, dahil di naman mausok and Trailblazer.

Actually i've been trying unioil for quite some time now, almost 3 mos na. Nag try din ako ng shell nitro diesel pero mas calmado makina ng sportage ko dito sa unioil.. mas tahimik din. so far i'm happy about it. Any long time users dyan?

gigil-na-gigil na ko i-try ang unioil kaso walang station sila sa las pinas area or sa route namin. i think the nearest branch is along sucat but we seldom pass there naman

i've been using it for over a year now, mas malakas ang arankada. mababa kasi ang sulfur content so there is less to rob the oxygen off from the fuel. at kahit matagal ang idling time ko (i never turn the engine off when waiting to fetch my kids from school) di pa nag-recycle yung cat ng GS since i started using it.

the ecu will pump more fuel into the engine (i think during the exhaust stroke) to heat up the cat above normal and this will burn up the soot collected in the cat. result will be white to grayish smoke from the exhaust.
