karga na! tataas nanaman ata!
oo nga.. araw araw nalang.. waaaaahhh :seeth: buti nalang nakapag pa full tank nako kahapon..
woah. what car do you drive? Thats a lot of miles with a tank fullOriginally Posted by V-dub*chic

honga ..300 miles is roughly 500km..that means 500/14, bale close to 36 km/day na takbo including sundays..me negosyo siguro c kapatid V-d....
2004lynxghia: Parang paranaque - manila na biyahe yan.ako din ave ko mga 30kms a day.
lintek! sobra ang mahal ng gasolina - $2.30/gallon!!!
and it will go up pa this summer![]()
haay, di ako nakapag pakarga kanina, tumaas nanaman, mga 1/2 pa kasi

My previous 2004 Civic gets 42mpg (manufacturer specs is only 38mpg) on highway and 32 on city driving.woah. what car do you drive? Thats a lot of miles with a tank full
My then WRX gets 23mpg city/highway driving
a Toyota corolla gets 40mpg on highway...hindi ito hybrid ha.
ILD, 24mpg (V-Dubs VW) is not an above average sa mga US spec cars. My 1993 240SX with 2.4liter engine on it gets 27mpg highway and city combined. According to Nissan, a brand new 240SX back in 1993 gets 20 city and 26 highway. Nagtataka nga ako kung bakit nakaka-27mpg pa ako on average considering 12-yr old na ito, RWD pa, at Automatic tranny.
V-Dub should be getting at least 30mpg if she drives it mostly on highway. Well, unless she's sitting on a highway traffic.
Oo nga pala, my 3-day commute is 210miles, 35 miles each way to work.
when I was in NJ, average miles ko a month is 500 miles. Dito sa California sa sobrang laki ng state na ito, 500 miles is two weeks lang...hehehe.
nagpa gas ako last night, $2.53/gallon on premium octane.

So 24mpg is roughly how many kms/li? to put in perspective. Forgot the computation
Your cars are more fuel efficient cuz of your weather right? Less dust, less humidity, less traffic (opps di weather), etc. Its pretty dusty and humid here expecially in summer.
Parking lot ang traffic sa Los Angeles b/n 7am-9am and 3pm-7pmOriginally Posted by ILuvDetailing
d ko rin alam ang formula for mpg to km/li. And alam ko lang 24miles is equivalent to 38.62 kms.
1gal=3.7liters
Paano ba to?![]()
nagpapakarga ko pag less than 1/4 nalang sa gauge ko.
nung unleaded (superunleaded ng shell) pa gamit ko, tumatagal ng 5-6 days before ko kailangan magpakarga ule. now that i'm using shell's velocity tumatagal na ng 6-7 days before i need to gass up again.
in my experience mas nakakatipid ako with shell's velocity compared to shell's superunleaded. for the same amount of gasoline (ie 40Li) i travel father (more kilometers) and P52 lang nadagdag sa gasoline expense ko (computation below).
super unleaded: 40Li x P29.50/Li = P1,180 (gas consumption is 8-9Km/Li)
shell velocity: 40Li x P30.80/Li = P1,232 (gas consumption is 9-10Km/Li)
btw ... nagtaas nanaman ba? indi na ba P30.80/Li ung velocity?
let me help po mga sir ... we wanna convert sir Karding's 24Mi/Gal consumption into Km/Li right?
1) convert po muna natin ung Mi into Km so ... 24Mi/Gal * 1.61Km/Mi = 38.62Km/Gal
2) now we convert Gal into Li ... 38.61Km/Gal * 0.26Gal/Li = 10.04Km/Li
thus 24Mi/Gal = 10.04Km/Li
pacheck nalang po ...
