I'd use both of them. Since if I'm going to Northern Luzon, Unioil lang madadaanan ko on the way to NLEX (Mindanao Avenue). If I'm going to Southern Luzon, Seaoil lang din madadaanan ko (EDSA southbound right after EDSA-Quezon Avenue flyover). You can use both of them since they are both environmentally friendly, yun nga lang Seaoil has STP additives that makes the engine perform on par with the premium diesels of Petron and Shell (based on my initial observation ito).

Same for me, also seems a bit more noisy has a bit more vibration compared to Unioil.

maki-ride na rin sa topic to share my positive experience with the new Seaoil+STP. Masasabi ko mayroon talagang performance improvement. Engine became a bit noisier just like what I feel if I fuel-up with Unioul or Petron Turbo Diesel, but on a lighter side, I attribute that extra noise as "pagka maangas" ng makina. Sarap lalong ihataw hataw overtaking the long lines of cargo trucks along Nueva Ecija and Bulacan last November 3 night on our way back to Manila.

On my next Seaoil full-tank, will fill up 200ml of 2T again to compare.. Sinadya ko kasing hindi haluan from the last top-up so as to have a comparison.

Again, overall, Im pretty much satisfied sa Seaoil+STP kahit medyo exaggerated ang marketing campaign nila na Euro5 perf equivalent siya. Well, Being close to Euro 4 , well and good na sa akin since I have blank EGR +OCC.

I have run around 250 kms with this in my fuel tank and so far I don't feel that much difference with Unioil's. If there is a difference in performance, it's very minimal. Parang mas gusto ko ang hatak sa Unioil.

Overall, it's nice to have this as an alternative and I wouldn't mind gassing up in Seaoil anytime. But if there is a Unioil available, I would still go with Unioil.

Have just finished one full tank of Seaoil diesel in the Revo. In my experience, it seems to enable the engine to run smoother (lesser vibration, comparable to modern commonrail diesels) than Unioil diesel. Performamce is at par, if not better than Unioil's. However, fuel efficiency is poorer. I computed 6.92km/L after refilling with another full tank of Seaoil diesel today. I usually get around 7.5-8km/L with Unioil, and 7.5 is already a worst case scenario. Same route, same driving habits, same time of driving.

I have been hearing positive feedback on seaoil extreme 97. How about extreme U (91) and extreme 95? Are they as good?

Had tried this before on our old and still reliable Honda Accord, performance is almost comparable to XCS.

Will try Seaoil in my next fill up. Found a station here in Pasig. I have always been a Shell Fuelsave Diesel guy for my new Monty.

Question: Since the station is in flood prone Pasig, is it still ok to fill up in a Seaoil station there? Not sure how the storage tank beneath held up during floods.

i've been loading up seaoil diesel lately on our van, my feedback is poor fuel efficiency compared to shell fuel save diesel. parang mas mabilis maubos yung seaoil diesel. hinahaluan ko rin ng 2t oil.

I've only used Seaoil unleaded and premium in my Kia Rio. In my area its almost P2 cheaper than the big 3. Even if its true that Seaoil provides poorer fuel economy, that is easily offset by the price difference.

Hi guys, i find this weird that I had to post on this thread to rant about seaoil product (extreme 97). Anyone tried gassing up in seaoil edsa southbound, near quezon ave, on the other side of Eton Centris? My average fuel economy by using Shell V-nitro + racing, Petron XCS, is around 10-11 km/liter. Yung first time ko nag pa gas sa kanila (Seaoil, regular pump, not discounted) my fuel economy was around 10.5 km/liter, not bad, considering the price. Then the next time I gassed up sa kanila, dun ko tinry sa discounted, around Php 2/liter and discount, so I thought, Wow, not bad! Mura na, mas pinamura pa! Thinking it was the same formula or additives added or whatever.

Then I noticed once na parang hirap mag accelerate ung kotse both in gear 1 and in reverse gear. I can describe it as, trying to accelerate/reverse while hand-braked, and nag vvibrate nang malakas na parang may pumipigil sa pag andar. Weird kasi never ko na experience yun before, my car by the way is Vios 2014 model, 2300 km ODO at that time. Naulit quite a few times, and happens specifically in gear 1 and reverse, sometimes felt in gear 2 pero not as strong as in gear 1.

Pinilit ko talagang ubusin halos maubos yung fuel tank ko kasi disappointed regarding dito, and after ko magpa full tank kanina (sa Petron na) I computed ung FC ko from that last gas up sa seaoil, and I got the lowest FC ever at 9km/l, same route, same driving styles, same everything.
Just sharing my experience, nothing agains SeaOil and all, actually smooth siya nung unang nagpa gas ako sa kanila, I think, may problema yung dun sa discounted pump station nila, and as they say, "charged to experience na lang". I'd like to know if anyone has experienced the same thing, by the way, sa kanilang na Seaoil pa lang ako nakapag try kaya I wont generalize. Thanks tsikot!

I typically fill my tank there since it's a rather convenient location for me and I like its pricing (relatively "affordable"). No problems naman so far.

Have you tried filling up dun sa discounted nila sir? I think that's the one with problem.. I'll try to observe din for the next few months to rule out the possibility na dun nga ang may problem. Yung first dill up ko kasi sa kanila sa normal pump, wala naman naging prob, okay naman eh..
