Question about proper way of coasting

Hi!

Pag nagco-coasting po ba to a stop, tulad ng stop light, dapat po ba naka neutral, or leave it on a gear and lift your foot from the accelerator?

BTW, i don't do this on downhills obviously. Vehicle is santa fe diesel.

gear lang kahit kapag manual sa gear lang ako. then kapag malapit na ko magstop talaga siguro pag mga 5kph saka ko i-shift to neutral. pero kung AT naman gamit ko, D lang all the way. shift lang ako to N kapag matagal na ko naka-hinto.
