    I am.

For diesel fuels, we are using Euro 2 standards right now. For all others we are following Euro 1.

Correct ko pala yung pinost ko kanina... Euro 1 diesel is 0.2% sulfur pala... this took effect on Jan 2001.

yung Euro 2 diesel of 0.05% took effect on Jan 2004.

How sure are we that this is implemented though? Has the governing body of the clean air act actually tested the fuel? The big three oil giants always have ways to bend the rules.

The mandatory 0.05% sulfur content of diesel fuels is uniform among SEA countries. Likewise, Shell & Petron have already upgraded their refineries here (to the tune of million of dollars) to comply also. There is no point in selling high sulfur content diesel.

The problem though is with the other contaminants that can be picked up during the course of shipping & distribution.

it costs 1 peso higher than regular diesel.... not bad i say, if it really gives you 10% gain in mileage!

v22: may banner ba yung unioil premium diesel in quirino ave? i loaded up in unioil in quezon ave the other night but they only have pure diesel.

consuelo ko lang was that they charged me only 26.25 per liter of pure diesel. baka pinakarga ako sa jeepney lane.

Just used Unioil Premiun Diesel last Saturday. Php28.++ per liter. Loaded 34 liters of it in my tank. Yes almost emtpy siya bago ako magpalagay para makita ko yung result. My verdict is ok naman siya. Got a good idling. Medyo lessen yung vibration when ang idle ang makina. BTW ride is Isuzu Highlander XTRM. Yan lang ang notice ko. Engine power is just the same. Yung Premium Diesel ng Unioil Quirino medyo nasa likod or dulo ng station.

Just tried the premium diesel of Unioil, wala masyadong usok and parang humina nga yung vibrations, my guess would be it has been premixed with biodiesel which is common with Euro diesels. At a price of P28.10 ok na rin yon pag regular biodiesel user ka, di mo na kasi magadd ng biodiesel.
