mine, bet 6-7 city driving. 97 galant ss stock.
Civic SiR - around 10.5-11 kms/liter. 40% city, 60% hway driving.
As long as you have no starts and stops at dire-diretso... laging astig yung mileage ng blaze... pero yung downside nito... MAHAL... you definitely don't want to be burning it in traffic.
EDIT: Tested Lynx RS on one full tank of gas on hataw/heavy foot mode (shifting between 3000-6000rpm... usually around 5000rpm), got a combined 8.7km/l over 433.3 km... 30% traffic 30% hataw 30% cruising... disappointed with myself... was getting 9-10 km/l until the last 100km or so, when I drove the car flat out for quite a bit of time. :p
Testing now for conservation mode... will know in a couple of days, but I believe 50%highway/traffic will come out to 10.5-11... will see.

Eto ang sa akin since I love calculating and recording my consumption every fill up and zero-ing the trip meter. Driving consists of 75% freeway on rush hour- stop and go to light traffic- and 25% city. At least 2-3 X "hataw" in a tank of gas- mostly stoplight to stoplight. I accelerate slowly most of the time and coast the car a lot to slowdwon or before stopping and I think it matters as you can see:
Starting from the smallest engine:
Mazda Miata 1.6L 5-spd manual 13.3 km/ltr
Toyota Minivan (HiAce) 2.0L 4-spd auto 10.2 km/ltr
Ford Escape 2.0L 5-spd manual 11.5 km/ltr
Mazda Tribute 2.3L 4-spd auto 10.5 km/ltr
Lexus RX300 3.0L V6 4-spd auto 8.3 km/ltr
Lexus GS400 4.0L V8 5-spd auto/tiptronic 9.5 km/ltr
mine is cr-v gen1 matic. city- 8km/l; highwy- (usually cavite to lipa 9.5-10 km/l if hindi masyado lampas 2,500 rpm mode).
actually, apart from the traffic conditions, driving style and condition of the vehicle on the whole can play a major role in fuel consumption regardless of the displacement.unfortunately, bigger displacement consumes more gas in stop and go traffic, moreover, being stuck in traffic. yes, tire pressure, wheel alignment also have its toll on fuel consumption matter.
i drive daily using a 3.0 L Diesel Isuzu DMax, and consumes 12 km/L. 45% of my drive composed of city driving, 55% highway driving during rush hour. as for my other ride, a 1.5L Civic 96, my consumption is 10.5 km/L- can go further than that since, it was driven hard and faster than average. my daily mileage is pegged at about 70 km / day.
me 10-11 km/liter.... mitsu lancer 96 glxi...
lucky me for having that gas consumpition.....
8.59 km/liter 2nd gen cr-v 4x2 a/t mostly highway driving using shell's "Better Mileage" velocity. . . will compute again next weekend... ilan kaya ang picanto?
honda accord 95 at - 8.9 km/l based on last computation, this is after i changed my driving habits and the air filter, i used to get only around 6.5-7.7 km/l
i just replaced the plugs to the ones specified in the manual, so i'm hoping for further improvements...
