Last time nag fill up ako sa petron (no choice walang unioil or seaoil) about 2 months ago umusok ang crdi, nag-regenerate pa after about 100kms ang dpf. So no di pa sila euro 4. Not even euro 2 kasi di naman umuusok pag caltex euro 2 or shell euro 2 ang ikarga ko.

No such thing as PUJ-only diesel. Even Petron DieselMax has to pass the requirements of DOE. And they consistently do.

However, even our lorry drivers know when it's Petron fuel they're carrying (yes, sometimes fuel companies borrow from each other when stocks are scarce). Perhaps they blend in a way that meets the DOE standards but is still different from how imported fuel is refined.

I have tried it before though, and honestly I still didn't notice any big difference compared to my usual Unioil and V-Power Diesel. Less peppy acceleration perhaps, but only if you really look for it.

Before Petron upgraded their refinery, they didn't pass our standards. There was a time when our supply was delayed and we tried to source from them, but their product wasn't up to our specs.

After their refinery upgrade though, they were already meeting our spec requirements.

sa fortuner club, madaming nagc-complain about turbo diesel. nag CEL after loading with Petron TD.

Diesel is clear. The yellow color is just a dye. Petron's diesel is yellower than Shell's or most other players even if they are just Euro II. Petron's yellow diesel is almost like C2.

Sorrry noob question lang, hindi ko alam if tama ako or mali. Is it true that if lesser sulfur on diesel fuel, the lesser lubrication on engine? Which means mas masama sa engine?

OT Try PTT Diesel, imported from Thailand.
