It can cause the engine to stall. Most diesel fuel systems have water separators to avoid disaster.
Its also good practice not to allow the tank to become empty since water and other contaminants usually settle at the bottom of the tank.

Uy.... now alam ko na kung ba't laging napupuno ung fuel pump ng sportivo ng tubig! Nakailang squeak na ko para malabas ung tubig nun since June 2006!
Sir Otep, posible kayang nakakarating pa sa mga big 3 na gas stations dito sa maynila ung may mga halong diesel na yun???

yes, kasi industry problem ang "paihi." mapa-independent station ka or big 3 ka, kung tarantado mga hauler mo and iba mong staff na nag-rereceive ng mga produkto, hindi ka immune sa ganitong problema...

e sir pag nag stall, overhaul na ba ang kailangan?
mataas na ang fuel prices, tapos naloloko pa dahil tampered at diluted pa ang fuels, tapos ang pinakamasakit - nasisira pa ng makina...kawawa na talaga ang mga me sasakyan ngayon...
dapat pag nahuli yung mga gumagawa ng mga illegal na ganito, painumin ng ihi.

other markets were complaining about the D4D rin, so the paihi issue shouldn't have that much of a bearing anyway.
