By June, diesel would already cost around P48/liter. If I'm getting 8km/li, that would be P6.00 per km.

hay grabe na ito...could we still blame GMA for this?...let's go back to basics...like planting kamote?...joke

well some sources ay nagsasabi na magre-reduce ang world oil production ng 30% by 2020 due to declining deposits & considering consumption ng China & India by that time, this will translate to fuel shortage & skyrocketing prices...hitting $200 per barrel in 2 years...maka-afford pa kaya ang bansa natin?...so all the fruits of our labor mapunta lang sa fuel?...

the cost of $120/barrel translates to around P 57/liter. based on current price + 7 pesos under recovery that will still be charged.
at $150/barrel, it roughly translates to around P 71.25/liter or P 2,493.75 on a 35 liter full tank.
    at $200/barrel, its P 95/liter or P 3,325.00 on a 35 liter full tank.

this is based on the 47.5% variance

now if you remove the VAT:
    P 57.00 - 12% = P 50.16
    P 71.25 - 12% = P 62.70
    P 95.00 - 12% = P 83.60

mahal pa din..... tsk tsk tsk.

    damn....

    ako if:
    (using standard 60 kms/day trip)

P 57/l, and i am getting 8.5 kpl, its Php 6.7 per km (402 pesos)
    P 71/l, its Php 8.3/km. (498.00 pesos)
    P 95/l, its Php 11.1/km. (666 pesos)

hmmm, the cost per km is getting cheaper if the cost of fuel is rising ah... hehehehehe. ang sama ng trend ah...

wala pa tollfees tsaka parking tsaka lunch.
    mukhang dapat ata P 1200/day allowance ko ah...at 1200/day * 20 days = 24,000 pa lang akin na....

i need a tax cut.... hehehehehe.

teka tama na to, may kasama ng speculations eh... hehehehe.

Ganyan talaga... but it is not the end of the world.

The good thing coming out of this is that people will be forced to use their vehicles more efficiently.

Pag nag P70/L na baka mag ganyan na nga ako. Pero at this point di sya economically feasible in my case since mababa lang mileage ko around 500km a month per car. And of course I would still prefer to keep my car unmolested
