OO nga mga Sir, Newbie lang ako dito. Thanks sa mga reply nyo. Gets ko na that none of the devices really saves gas effectively. Meron kase akong naka-usap about sa isang device and he said money back with-in 10days pag di ok sa sasakyan ko.

But seriously, you might want to consider LPG conversion if you use your van on long trips on a daily basis. Especially if you live in the areas near the LPG refilling stations.
Try rin using the search function sa tsikot and search possible threads/posts already about that device. Baka merong discussion/feedback na tungkol sa device na yan, just for your added info., if and before you choose to push through with testing it.Originally Posted by jsalcedo

why not try it, money back guarantee pala e. I've heard that some devices work on certain cars and for certain minds of people who thinks that it does but no harm trying.
Theveed: Yun older cars namin are serviced every 5k and yun BM ko more than 7k na tinatakbo di pa ako nag chachange oil, I don't know if that has anything to do with fuel consumption but im just saying![]()

Lalo mo dapat iwasan kung may "money-back guarantee". That's just a marketing tool.

Originally Posted by Bogeyman
Saving you the effort of searching for fuel saving devices in tsikot.com... NONE have proven effective as claimed by their advertising materials.
-air bleed devices do not work as turbo chargers nor reduce overall pollution. It can even damage your engine in the long run.
-fuel preheaters doesn't really deliver their claims and might end up creating more problems like bubbles in the fuel line.
-air swirling devices at your intake system only create more restrictions in your air intake system and reduce top-end power.
-exhaust tip devices do not work at all. You would be better off buying a muffler tip chrome garnish.
-balls/pellets of whatever in your fuel tank will not suddenly create super fuel in your gas tank.
-fuel additives doesn't really work and they usually are expensive which limits your supposed "savings".
-magnets around the fuel line supposed to align the molecules of the fuel. Doesn't happen.
-special sparkplugs that claims to increase power and engine efficiency. Usually it doesn't work without further ignition system mods which results in increased fuel consumption. For any given engine, to get more power, you will need to burn more fuel.
Better to spend your money on performance enhancers...
Some, like a K&N air filter (though it definitely doesn't keep your engine as clean as stock) and a hyper-ground wire kit actually have no negative effects on fuel consumption... and in some cases, actually improve it a bit. (In the case of the K&N, you have to make sure that the filter isn't too free flowing.
Other mods are a roll of the dice. Well planned and subtle exhaust mods improve power and efficiency, but if you go even a tiny bit too far, your engine will lose low down torque and will start drinking more gas.
As for spark plugs... hit or miss thing talaga yun. Unless you can find a dyno-chart comparing how different spark plugs act on your car, forget it. Some cars might benefit from plats or iridiums, but others produce the most power on bone-stock plugs or plugs from the same series but in a different heat range... but do you really want to do expensive experiments for no possible gain?
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
