We fill up exactly every 2 weeks for both cars since that's when both are, more or less, near the 1/4 tank mark. My wife insists we never have less than a 1/4 tank on both cars.

The Hyundai has a 17.7 gal tank and 14.5 gal for the Contour. 3/4 tank of (regular) unleaded gas to fill up the tank takes around $40 for the Sonata and around $30 for the Contour.

During winter, gas prices are lower. So corresponding prices to fill up are around $10 less for each car.

During a road trip to say, Fallon NV(~800miles/1300km)...... we use to start out with a full tank and fill up again just outside Phoenix. That should give us enough to go north past Las Vegas before filling up again and heading on to Fallon.

Now because my wife's kumare is in Las Vegas, we start out as before. But, we stay overnight at Kumare's house. We then fill up again at Las Vegas and continue north.

then P1500 for diesel..good for two months... mura lang noh..hehehhe..kasi..i walk to work everyday Mon-fri...so...drive lang weekends and gimiks on weekdays...and tagaytay every other weekend..hehehehh
