Honestly bro, even the slightest idea makes me cringe now...

Maybe in the future, when additional premium highways are built....

Distance between BGC to Tagaytay is only 60Km... If there's a comfortable premium train or a premium highway then arguably it may be doable,- but not a reality now.

Personal helicopter? Teleportation?.. Am dreaming part2...

Pwede siguro kung single ka. Pero saken kasi, dapat proper na house.

Taga Pasig/Cainta area ako so mejo alam ko yung traffic times ng Ortigas Ext - C5. Ewan ko lang yung sa may C6.

Anyone here living in Tagaytay and drive to Makati/BGC for work?
Plan ko lumipat sa Tagaytay para sa climate and less crowding. Pero no idea really about Tagaytay.

Nakapag drive na ako to Dasma (rent car) and ok naman yung SLEX, pero Sunday kasi. Drive to work M-F before morning rush hour, tas mga 2-3pm uwi na. Is this a crazy idea? Mga magkano daily gas, parking, toll?

Any advice would be appreciated. Salamat.

to "save gas" pinalitan nya ng 1.3 XE na E110 yung 2.0L car nya...

after 6 months... sabog na engine nung E110 (di pa uso speed limit noon)

so mula noon... smallest car na drive nya is 1.8 (Civic)

We pass by Tagaytay every weekend (the Aguinaldo stretch from Amadeo junction to the Nasugbu arch), and I will not dream of myself living there. It is just too crowded and rowdy on weekends and the real estate prices are off the scales.

Amadeo, Mendez, and Alfonso offer better alternatives, and are relatively near Tagaytay.

Forget the cost of gas and toll, mayaman ka siguro for you to consider this option. But the TIME, 4 hours of travel daily? That is time you can have for other things, like family, friends, yourself.

Correct! Yung gastos mo sa toll and gas for 3 months can buy you a 3hp inverter. Set mo sa 18 degrees.

Im from the area..if he's near picnic groove, best bet fastest way going up and down tagaytay are ligaya drive via talisay- star toll and palace in the sky-marcos mansion- can golf-carmel town...


Aguinaldo hiway is a and sta rosa is a no-no..grabe traffic sa acienda and nuvali

If traffic is not such a big concern, Tagaytay is a short drive to BGC.

I live in QC and its not uncommon for me to take 2 hrs to go home from makati during rush hour.

Time is gold my friend.

Bury your idea deep deep in the ground. The expense, time lost, hassle, effort etc arent worth it.

Makati po ako.. Meron kaming bahay sa Bacoor, at meron unit sa wind residences....

Depende sa iyo yan... kung deep pocket.. lahat ng expenses from toll, fuel. do what ever you want..


Basta gagawi lang ako ng Tagaytay, para mamili ng sariwang bagong katay na baka at yung mga pinya at langka..

+ yung mga tawilis at sinaing at deep-fry. doon sa mahogany market...

I take that route daily. It's a usual 1 hour drive BF Homes to/from BGC via SLEX and C5. 30 minutes on light traffic.

i am looking to the future, when all these flying-overs are all operational.

btw, the osmena highway southbound traffic, at least until just before magallanes, seems better now.
