high diesel consumption

ask ko lang lately kc pansin ko parang ang taas ng diesel consumption ng pajero ko, dati kc nakaka 300plus km me bofore half empty yung paj ko but now, half na 200 or less km palang. wat u think problem?

Hmmm. Mahirap pare yung ganyang estimate. I suggest you get the km/L consumption figure.

Magpa fulltank ka, tapos reset the trip meter. Go about your daily business, then fulltank ulit. divide amount of fuel loaded by number of kilometers traveled. In my pajero i get 8.5km/L to 9.0km/L

In any case, maraming pwedeng cause niyan. Calibration may be needed.

A peso devaluation could cause your amount comparison. Mahirap nga tantyahin yan kung amount based ang consumption mo as PK said. Just be sure to fill it up the same quantity as you filled her up before, lalo na kung full tank. Bubbles from diesel fuel could cause misreading on your gauge.

Since was the last time you noticed your 200 peso fill up? Baka 15/liter pa diesel nun? 16.5/liter na ngayon ang price.

just had my paj done sa denso, they found out one of my nozzle tips sira na so d na even yung pag spray ng fuel. kaya tumaas yung consumption, they change al 4 na para lahat new. good service. thanks hanson of denso.

depende wat gagawin? my problem was just the nozzle tips so the cost was less than 4k, but kung injection pump din daw nagkaproblem, it could have gone as much as 10k. thank god!!!!
