I stumbled into this website and looks interesting, especially these days of high gas prices.

ok dun yung article about adjusting the your a/c's temp setting instead of the fan setting.
they claim that the fan's speed does not affect gasoline consumption much.

actually, fan is an electrical component. whilst temperature switch is the one that controls how often the a/c compressor will work. yes, the fan will not consume that much, except for the electrical load on the alternator.

Nice site. Very informative indeed. Regarding sa fan wala talaga effect yan sa fuel consumption. Tama na yung temp settings ng A/C ang i-adjust para yung compressor di palaging iikot at di mahirapan yung engine sa pagpapaikot nito, hence less fuel used. Pero kung electric compressor ang gamit ng vehicle well the above suggestion is not applicable.

Hehe... that's what I ALWAYS do... usually naka-lowest or off yung A/C ko, while yung fan laging naka 2 o 3.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

nagtataka lang ako.
kapag naka off na yung a/c... kapag inadjust mo yung temp controls - lumalamig or umiinit rin.

ok lang ba madalas on/off ung aircon? kasi ako kahit naka adjust na ung temp tapos masyado nang malamig off ko na ung a/c. tapos fan na lang nakabukas. ok lang ba un? hindi kaya makakasira un? kasi madalas kung gawin un lalo na at malamig naman ung panahon.
