it used to be "boss/sir, resibo?"

now that all cash registers are automated, they have a new one at least for shell stations

"sir, cash or card?" everytime na lang when I fill up, ito tinatanong, when I ignore and pretending not to hear them, hinde talaga mag kakarga until you answer them...I always reply na lang "bakit meron ba akong discount pag cash?"...

hinde ko maintindihan why do they need to asked it pa?

Minsan kasi sira/offline yung credit card machine nila. sobrang hassle pag wala kang cash tapos hindi mo magamit yung card mo pambayad. No need to be rude to them. theyre just doing their job.

ang alam ko kaya tinatanong yan para pag card gagamitin mo, they will inform you that visa and master only that they are accepting. also, maybe its their SOP to ask.

I'm sure it's not bec their POS is broken, I have encountered na when their POS is not working is that they inform the customers immeditely and say that they only accept cash for the time being bec their POS is not working...

I guess it's just their SOP for interaction with customers...oh well...

Would you rather that they didn't and just assumed what you wanted?
