Fuel expenses

i made a list of all my expenses last month down to the last centavo. ang laki na pala ng gas bills ko ngayon compared before..

ride is a 2.0L gas a/t using petron unleaded (93 ron).. average consumption ko last month ay 40 liters/week. based on current fuel prices, eto gastos ko;

5.7L x 40/liter = 228/day x 30 days= 6,840/month

salary na ng minimum wage employee ito ah.. ..gas pa lang yan, pwera pa ibang gastos sa maintenance ng sasakyan..


since global ang tsikot, iba-iba ang ginagamit natin na fuel, consumption at currency. i wonder kung magkano gastos nyo...

200 petot a week sa akin sa Petron Diesel Max. Nilalabas ko lang sasakyan pag hinahatid ko baby ko o kaya pag nag grocery si misis. Pag may binibili akong hindi mabigat nagbibisikleta na lang.

I posted in one thread the gas consumption of all our cars from 97 to present... Our total gas bill is give/take 1.5 million for 9 years!

That's better than my Mom. She averages 40k kms a year, nearly 150k pesos per year, and that's on a diesel.

hehe.. halos lahat takot magkwenta... ayaw ko din nung una pero naobliga ilista for tax purposes.. almost 20k kms/year din average ko, nag 5 yrs yung ride ko this sept with 98k kms odo reading..

nakakainggit yung nakaka 200-500 a week lang.. :grin;

ang 500 petot isang araw lang kay Congressman...nakaandar ang aircon habang nakatulog ang driver and bodyguard.

sa ngaun I have 2 diesels that are capable of 500km to 600km per full tank. I spend 2500 and 2800 full tank each, or P 5300 both.

lagay ko na 30km/day tinatakbo ko, x 30 days max (although I rarely go out on sundays)

900km/month ako.

or 450km per car. so parang it falls in sa 500km per full tank. may free pa ako tig 50km each diesel hehehe (pang occassional trips to the malls/nearby rest spots). but yun 500km ko yun tipong bumper to bumper traffic, which I consciously avoid at times. baka umaabot nga me ng 600km pa each car.

so 5k/a month for 2 diesels is a safe bet. and I spend less on maint cost, kasi I use the cars alternately.

I spend around 3k to 3500 a month on gas. Graveyard shift kasi kaya bihira traffic. Home to office is 15km and i get 9km/l on my car. if you put this way, parang 52 pesos per punta nga office yun binabayad ko. Not bad pala.
