My car is 94 GLi Lancer 1500.
Gamit kong gas is Super Supreme... anong effect kapag nag unleaded ako? currently medyp may tope kasi ang kotse ko. mas lalakas ba ang tope?

kung may tope car mo try using a higher octane fuel. pag plain unleaded nasa 93 octane yun
try to switch to Premium unleaded nas 95 octane. (e.g. Petron XCS/Caltex Gold)

kidding aside, tama yung sabi ni Mr. Man of Steel, try mo mag Premium Unleaded muna. yan yung in between ng regular unleaded tsaka ng hi-octanes.
personal suggestion ko shell super unleaded (yung pula), medyo pino ang burning nya.
o kaya yung petron xcs, mas higher ang octane nya compared to the premium unleadeds of the other big 2.

isa pang dagdag pareng meloy, kung na try mo na yung higher octanes tapos may tope pa rin, pa try mo i pa tuneup.
yung sa akin kasi before ganyan din. i use higher octane gasolines on my 2k lancer, tapos pag regular unleaded lang may tope. nung napa tuneup ko, nawala. i went back to regular unleaded (kasi mura lang)....

btw anu difference ng SUPER 93octane, sa Super unleaded 93octane? mas mahal kasi ang Super sa shell, tama ba? y?
and anu ang premium unleaded? velocity na agad nakikita ko kasi after ng super unleaded eh...

January 29th, 2004 06:30 PM #12The timing i also adjusted... Check to see if the timing is set at the proper spec. If you're running advanced, this can result in tope also w/ 93oct. Check your plugs to see if you're using one ith the proper heat range and specs for your engine.

pareng piss, according to the website of shell philippines, ang shell super premium (pula) daw is designed to be a replacement for leaded gasoline. siguro ang pagkakaiba nya from the super unleaded (berde) is yung mga additives. siguro (im not sure) this is fitted for vehicles with catalytic converters. sa akin kasi, i've tired using both the green and the pula, and pareho naman ang response eh.

seriously, eto yung hesitance ng makina to respond to acceleration. eto yung pag apak mo ng silinyador eh hindi equal to the acceleration that is expected at that level.

last december palit ako ng oil, oil filter, air filter, 4 plugs and fuel filter. tapos may tope pa din kapag sa super premium. BTW timing lang hindi ko na check. check ko mamyang gabi. may strobe light ako eh. heheheheh!!!
last night velocity ako. observe ko din.

Im using Caltex Silver. My car is an Altis E.
