As shown in the links, it's relatively easy, and many individuals and companies are doing it.

The question is the cost per liter and economies of scale. If you don't have enough plastic waste and cheap enough electricity or heating, then it's not economically viable.

    as if

    no competition sa kanila yan

    dami nagbebenta

Plastic To Fuel-Plastic To Fuel Manufacturers, Suppliers and Exporters on Alibaba.com

Instead of thinking of ways how to produce fuel to satisfy the increasing demand for it, we should invent machines that use less energy or less fuel but produces the same amount of output.

Regarding this "invention", if the inventor found a new way to convert plastic to diesel, then it is still a valid discovery.

If that is the case, the next question would be about its practicality.

The amount of plastic in garbage isn't that big. You have to sort it, classify it and clean it. Obviously can't have food scraps, metal and wood in the machine with the plastic, as this would contaminate the product.

Poof. The cost of manual labor and cleaning eats up your last peso difference per liter to regular fuel.

and when there's a big plastic-to-fuel plant that needs continuous supply of waste plastic the market will put a price on waste plastic

hey, kailangan mo eh. bayaran mo

    hehe

im no chemical expert, napaisip lang ako.

    enlighten me. hehe.
