FC Problem.. I guess?

Almost 8km/L lang sya city driving and may halong SLEX paminsan..

Nagpa-full tank ako ng Petron Unleaded (35 liters) and 280kms lang ang na-travel ko bago mag-blink yung fuel indicator (or kung ano man tawag dun)
para yatang ang lakas ng gas ko?

Eto pa po isa.. nung paubos na sya nagpa-full tank ulit ako ng Petron XCS (37 liters) kaso wala pa 280 nag blink na ulit sya.. hindi ko na kinompute pero mas lumakas sya.. bakit ganun? Ano kaya posibleng problema?

Bago ko ipa-full tank sya ng XCS eh nagpalinis muna ako ng throttle body dahil medyo delayed yung hatak.. ano kaya problema nito? Nagpa-scan ako sa Servitek at ang sabi eh sobrang hina daw sa gas, pero parang sa tingin ko sobrang lakas nya.

Mga sir patulong naman! Meron din kasi kami Toyota BB at ang full tank nya eh umaabot kahit papaano ng 310kms+ pero always dumadaan ng SLEX yun.

Salamat mga sir, sorry kung mahaba, gusto ko lang talaga i-explain lahat para malinaw.. hindi ko kasi talaga alam anong pwede maging problema eh.

i guess maybe the fun cargo is heavier than the bb, weight plays a big role in fc.

Manual or Automatic? 8 km/l in mixed traffic, given our weather and the extreme traffic on SLEX nowadays is excusable for a 1.3 AT.

Automatic mga sir same with the BB, pero bakit ganun? Mas maganda mileage ko sa Xtra Unleaded compared sa XCS.

Salamat mga sir, guess I have to live with it, kala ko kasi sobrang tipid talaga eh na aabot ng 400kms+ bago ako maubusan hehe..

Your FC isn't really that bad given that it's an automatic. How about your driving style? Sometimes this is the culprit.

Sometimes I'm flooring it lalo na kapag maluwag or nasa highway pero most of the time eh relaxed lang, light foot and hanggang 60 lang ako sa city at hinahayaan ko lang mag-accelerate yung car ng kusa while stepping on the pedal not more than an inch

Anyway.. maraming salamat po sa mga sumagot.. pero nasa gas din kaya talaga yun? 260kms pa lang kasi nag blink na sya using XCS while sa Xtra Unleaded naman 280+ bago sya nag blink.

Possibly. Ethanol enriched gasolines really aren't as good for fuel economy as non-ethanol mixed gasolines for older cars that can't adapt to them.

Fun Cargo = Echo Verso right?

Well, at 1.3L with a slushbox, medyo mahihirapan yung engine so you may end up using more fuel to keep it running at speed. We had a B14 Sentra 1.4L automatic before and its FC was worse than our similar B14 1.6L Sentra (7km/L versus 8.5 to 9km/L)

mga bossing tanong ko naman po kung saan mkakabili ng mga parts ng toyota funcargo- mahirap kasi makakita ng parts nito kasi imported e hopefully someone can answer my question... sa akin namn matipid lang sa gas unlike dito sa funcargo nya
