am not a car expert but from what i hear and read airbag programming has improved a lot ever since it's inception;they don't just blow up on bumps and slight scratches from somebody ele's car. if you want to know a car's crashworthiness go to the Euro NCAP website. i think the Euro ratings are the best and most dependable in anywhere else.
well, if somebody can afford a BMW then why not. but Toyota on my opinion still stands out among the crowd. but mind you Hyundai has great reviews here in the UK and their fuel millage is not that bad and at par with the rest....
Yup, we got a Hyundai Santa Fe CRDi a few weeks ago :-)
I did an extensive research on it before giving the "approved" signal that it's the car to get. It's fast, fuel efficient and very comfortable. My only gripe though is that it doesn't have the rearview mirror electronic compass Euro versions have.
maybe..depending on your need(s) and /or circumstances. if i have the money i would choose a Ford Focus or a Rav4 and a Hyundai or Mazda car as a "backup" car.=)
