Keep in mind that just because the engine is not 'perfect', it automatically requires an overhaul.

My Mercedes is 230,000 kms on the original internals, a bit blow-by but still has power, economy, and not much black smoke. So I just let it be.

We drove a blown by Pajero for more than 5 years. It was so blown, the radiator was filling with oil. But the thing just kept going. We sold it as-is-where-is. The new owner shouldered the overhaul.

Ibang klase talaga. Yung GEN I din namin, nagka-emergency kasi dati sa ospital. Hanggang bewang ang tubig, go go go pa din! Walang takot! hahaha.
