just bought a liter kanina from flying V. noticed iba yung color niya kesa sa sea oil?
may difference kaya sila? ano kaya mas ok?
saan kayo kumukuha ng bio diesel niyo? na compare niyo na ba performance ng iba't ibang bio D >??

pre, preho lang dapat performance ng biodiesel kahit san mo pa nakuha yan. maliban na lang kung nag-add sila ng fuel stabilizer w/c I doubt coz it will jack up the cost considerably; in any case, it should also not affect the performance of the biodiesel, it will only improve its shelf life.

simple test to check if your biodiesel is good, lagay mo sa glass bottle na see through, dapat malinaw sya, walang nag-se-settle na parang tulog na mantika sa loob, or brownish powdery stuff. color varies from light yellowish to yellowish brown - depends on the grade of coco oil used. Kung gusto mo, testingin mo din ng litmus paper blue; good biodiesel should not be too acidic, it should be very mildly acidic only, but not basic/alkaline either. finally, tikman mo, dapat biodegradable yan... pag nagpururot ka... baka langis na pampahid sa anit ni lola yan hehehehe joke na yung last part.

final note. yung sa flying v, if i'm not mistaken, galing ng chemrez yun and I think they add an organic dye to differentiate it, greenish yata or bluish.

To all biodiesel users:

Price comparison between Bioexceed of Seaoil and Bioactiv of Chemrez

200 ml of Bioexceed cost 30 pesos per bottle
500 ml of Bioactiv cost 70 pesos per bottle

if you break it down,

Bioexceed: 30 pesos divided by 2 = 15 pesos per 100 ml
Bioactiv: 70 pesos divided by 5 = 14 pesos per 100 ml

Tip: Bioactiv is export grade biodiesel and is the only biodiesel accredited by the DOE

Bioexceed is also a product of Chemrez, but it is only intended for local use, research said that 2% blend of bioexceed is needed for good perfornance.

Bioexceed and Senbel Estrol can only eliminate 35% of smoke as compared to Bioactiv's 60 percent elimination.

roadrunner: bro dami rin akong stock nyan. ok lang. just text me. I can only comment on the quality of Senbel. It has passed the qty reqment for BD100 ng RP govmt and all the EC countries. I am pretty sure all the other big mfg are also offering the same quality. To a big extent marketing yan. Nauna kasi Senbel so mas marami gumamit nito since start ng BD so minsan may isang observation nage-generalize lahat. Cant argue with them experience nila yun. Mas maganda packaging ng BioActive even yung distribution nila

Y po ng magpa fulltank ako sa Petron at nagkarga ako ng 1L na BioActive eh lalong nagumusok sportivo 2007 ko?
Nag try ako ng Pre blended ng Flying V eh nag less ang smoke emission....
try ulit ako sa Petron at same pa rin, nag umusok ang sasakyan ko, kaya balik kami sa Flying V.

Sa Petron din ako nag-umpisa, tapos eventually nag-Flying V ako.

One time nag-full tank ako ng Flying V biodiesel tapos biyahe from Antipolo to Subic. Half tank din yung naubos ko, mileage is 14++kms/liter; partida pa yun, na-traffic kami ng konti sa San Fernando. On the return trip, nagpakarga ako ng Petron Diesel Max. I just retraced my route, less cargo, less traffic. Kalahating tangke din ang naubos, pero mileage is less than 13kms/liter.
