    Dear All,

In the near future i will be driving my own delivery truck for my trading business. This owner driven truck will be a large 4-wheeler closed van type, hopefully brand new but more likely a unit from one of those auction companies.

I have the best intentions to keep it in tip top shape.

But since its a delivery truck, it will be a target of those anti-smoke belching units. I am willing to be pulled over and be inspected because i am confident hindi smoke belcher truck ko. But i do not trust them to give an accurate reading.

What are ways to prevent them from pulling you over and in case they test your vehicle you wont get any bogus results and fines.

Will showing a monthly emission test cert, from a legitimate emmisson testing center, be enough to let me be?

I will not bribe those fools to let me go when they even dont have a case against me. But ayoko rin pag initaan if they will see me regularly pass that way again. Gusto ko sila unahan na tama mga papeles ko at nasa tama condition truck ko.

I will frequent both slex and nlex as well as C5. And even edsa.
Lahat ata ng diesel engine dun na hindi pickup o passenger jeepney, pull over nila.

Sa mga northern luzon roads PNP-tmg at LTO naman ata mga bwitre. What kind of violation are those men looking for anyway?

Redhorse is right. Like you said that delivery trucks are the primary target for belching… Exhaust system h20 flushing is proven for diesel engine that belch. Once a week or twice a month will do in your case. Don’t forget also to look after the air filter cleanliness aside from regular oil change.

best is to avoid them* (you know)

gather info about time and place of their tambayan, and how to position or which lane to take, so it will difficult for them to go after you...

sir, may experience ako diyan, I just wish to share but I dont know if this will help though.

When i had a trading business right after college, I too frequently drove my own delivery van, pero L300 FB lang but same case. I did it for a year and a half and d ko na mabilang ilang beses ako tinigil ng mga yun.

Well maintained din yung unit ko before (weekly scheduled wash sa muffler) but regardless, they still wont stop and i got sick of giving bribes to them.

If I remember correctly, 4 times ako na nahuli when they actually confiscated my plates. Huge hassle cause I had to have my muffler cleaned again, then get a passing emission test certificate, and then get my plates back.

Eventually, my mom came up with this idea to stick a "Radyo Veritas" sticker sa windshield nung van kasi very active ang mom ko sa church na malapit sa amin. So why not give it a shot right? It just so happend na yung area na tambayan nila malapit din sa church so every time they would stop me, i would say na sa church yung van tapos nagdadala lang ako ng goods for them. This is partly true kasi hinihiram din nung church yung FB na dala ko. The cool thing is it worked! Pagtapos sasabihin ko pa "God bless bossing and salamat!" hehehe . After a few more times, eventually nakilala na nila yung unit so tumigil na sila.

    2 steps lang yan boss:

1.) Bring play money and toss it to the sidewalk.

    2.) Enjoy the scramble...

    hahaha! ayos yan a!

medyo OT lang. Am currently having some problems with a smoke belching truck.
