Typical Emission Test Results of your Diesel Rides

I just had my 94 L200 calibrated at Central Diesel Clinic last week. I was planning to have it done sa Denso, kaso when i went to Banawe parang wala na ata sila doon. Anyway, i spent 14.5k for the whole calibration, change of tips, governor etc.. Last monday I had it emission tested and it averaged 1.60 (sa averaging ang first na nakuha is 2.99 and then the succeeding values are 1.22), konti na lang 2.5 na. i was browsing the forums and ive been seeing tsikoteers having emissions as low as .10, (or under 1.0 na value). Do you guys think that I need to have it adjusted further? Or normal na yung value na nakuha ko sa emission for a 13 yr old vehicle? Would cleaning the tailpipe do a whole lot of difference?

Cleaning the tailpipe would make a difference.

My 2001 Patrol's emission result is just under 0.2.

last oct a 0.48 emission result was achieved with the help of tailpipe
cleansing using dishwashing liquid and air filter cleaning.
timing ko rin ang oil change during month of registration.

might be your governor is misadjusted...try to adust CCW but be sure not too much that you will loss power..para sigurado ibalik mo sa shop who calibrated and complain the result..suggestion lang po, para sulit naman yong 14.5k..

my 4 year old starex still post 0.36.. engine hasnt been touch.. except for the timing belt and water pump replacement.. havnt evn thought of cleaning the tail pipes...

kakapacalibrate ko lang din diyan sa central. 18k inabot akin. 8 yr old 4m40 engine. before calibration nag 1.0 ako. after calibration naging .16 nalang.

dun sa mga may mababang emissions, regular diesel lang gamit nyo? wala bang halong biodiesel yan?
