rides w/ 2c-turbo, ilan average fuel consuption nyu?

ask ko lang anu average fuel consumption nyu??

my ride 2c-turbo 4wd matic idles at 1000-1100rpm and turbo boosts at 1900-2250rpm, (net wt * 1.6tons, 2ton-gross wt.), has a regular tune-up/oil change and almost 80,000kms on the clock.

sa almost 2 years na logging ko, nag aaverage lang ako ng 5-6 km/l on my ride around the metro(quiapo-proj.6 at around my area) mixed with and w/o aircon, mixed stop-and-stright go traffic... will my ride need a calibration and fuel filter replacement?

i cant compare ung hatak kasi galing ako sa 4d56T na sadyang malayo ang hatak compared to 2c-t...and i dont have a reliable direct comparison(kakilalang may 2c-turbo),e...

worst is 6km/l, best is 10km/l city driving based from different townies I driven... traffic is not as bad in our probinsya though, but it's still a bad traffic...

N. B. 10km per litre equals 28.25mpg (miles per Imperial gallon) - a good average, easy to check against.

I think there is something to be done in your ace, but Im in no position to say a calibration is needed... but most likely a fuel filter will not improve consumption.

why not try to have the Nozzle tips cleaned. sir oceanrider88 said he gets Nozzle tips cleaned twice a year. service was just 300 pesos daw.

ang dami kasing suspect, I recommend visit http://www.townace.com na lang for tips. check the fuel system section... though most of them are not with "E" Engine models, but still could learn a lot...

mas mura ba yung injector lang muna palinis ko over sa calibrate ko yung pump?? mga magkano estimate po sa ganun...para di bitin ang dala..

Bago ka magka-gastos ng malaki sa repair ng injectors, injection pump, fuel system, etc., I suggest you try BioDiesel. Any brand will do but the most popular is BioActiv (available from many Petron stations for P75/500ml bottle or from Flying V for P130/1,000ml bottle.)

Mas mura yun Flying V, kun nagtitipid ka. It has a different color but my sources tell me they are both BioActiv made by Chemrez. Do not buy pre-blended diesel from Flying V. They say its 1% -- but are you really sure.

At the beginning, I suggest you mix 2% (for example: add 400ml BioActiv if you think you have 20 liters of diesel in your tank.) At next fueling, mag 1% ka na lang. (Or, try 0.5% as I do. Refer to my threads in the "BioDiesel Rulez" forum.)

Keep track of your fuel mileage. I am sure you will see an improvement. BioDiesels have good solvency and lubricity. This means they will clean your fuel system and lubricate worn out parts. With any luck, BioDiesel will solve your problem, improve your mileage and allow your engine to emit less toxic fumes -- everything for only P75 or less.

Of course, if you want to continue getting good mileage and emitting less fumes -- you have to keep using BioDiesel. Soon, however, you won't have to buy it. It will be pre-blended in all diesel we will buy per the BioFuels Act.

For info: My Terrano, 2.7TD engine, 4WD, manual trans gets 8.0-8.5km/L on 0.5% BioActiv in city driving with AC on.

I've been using Flying V Biodiesel direct from the pump for months now...
Ano po ba Bad effect nun?
BTW my Car is 97 Hilander...
Ano din po ba magiging effect if I use consistent 1% blend and 5% blend ng BD?

oceanrider88 had nozzles cleaned for 300 pesos... have your injector pressures balance check nalang too... don't know how much additional labor cost will that be though... and still looking for the right injector psi for 2ct and 3ct. don't have manuals for these engines...

we had a Injector and Pump cleaning that costs us here 2500... that shop was actually a leeching bastards... our new suki here in probinsya just charged us 500 for cleaning the pump...

I think 2c-t Denso Nozzles costs 300 pesos each. 1200 all four... why not buy a new one?

we had nozzle changed for two townies last year, the labor costs 250 each from our suki...

regarding townace.com's mileage... maybe the author's townie has better mileage because U.K has the highest standard of fuels...?

remembers National Geographic "I didn't know that" any product must pass the U.K standard test... even a toilet bowl freshner has a big test facility.

I still have our nozzle casing, and here's a webcam screenshot with a part no. too...
