    OBERON A656
    DIESEL FUEL ADDITIVE

    DESCRIPTION
    Oberon A656 is specially designed to improve the performance and operating life of diesel and heating fuels. Oberon A656 removes sludge accumulation, eliminates exhaust smoke and generally gets rid of residues and deposits which form on diesel injectors and burner nozzles.

    CHARACTERISTICS
    Disperses Residues And Deposits
    As oxidation increases with temperature, residues form quickly when fuel is exposed to hot diesel injectors, burner nozzles or storage conditions. Such residues brought about by oxidation of fuel parts generate deposits that hamper the operating performance of burners and diesel engines. In diesel engines, a build-up of such deposits obstructs the flow of fuel into the cylinder, causing uneven and reduced fuel intake. Fuel injector deposits can cause spray hole plugging, plunger sticking and fuel leakage. It may even lead to complete engine breakdown. Residues blocking nozzle passages can result in diminished flow which lowers furnace output. Oberon A656 overcomes the problem of deposition on injectors and burners by eliminating all residues in diesel fuel.

    Exceptional Water Separation
    Oberon A656 possesses excellent water separation characteristics. This reduces the risks of water contamination and ensures that Oberon A656-treated fuel appear bright rather than hazy. No water separation problems associated with the use transport, storage or use of Oberon A656-treated fuels are to be expected.

    Prevents Rust
    Although distillate fuels may contain inherent rust inhibitors, these rust-protection properties are often destroyed by refinery possesses such as hydrofining. Oberon A656 is formulated to eliminated such problems by enhancing the rust inhibiting properties of diesel and heating fuels. As a result, fuel distribution and storage systems are protected and costly corrosion is avoided as Oberon A656 effectively controls rust when fuel systems and burners are idle.

    Promotes Colour Stability
    Some diesel fuels tend to darken during storage. To meet consumer requirements and pipeline specifications, it is often desirable to reduce colour degradation. Oberon A656 inhibits colour degradation in most diesel fuels.

    Stops Stack Smoking
    Stack smoking is a result of unburnt fuel. Ineffective combustion increases both exhaust smoking and fuel consumption. Oberon A656 optimises fuel intake and provides the exact amount of fuel required for each cylinder for maximum output.

    Cost Effective
    Oberon A656 saves costs by lowering filter and filter change costs as well as by cutting down the number of expensive overhauls to clear deposits form fuel systems

    ey mikbik...how much is that?

    i just tried using Bravo and it was mentioned in one of the previous threads here that its possible that is just a repacked oberon bearing the same color and smell? hmmm...i must say i'm starting to like it! smoother accelaration and less emition talaga.
    the ratio im using is 1mL to 1 liter...1:1 as stated in the brochure and the directions.

    With the ratio i'm using...lalabas na mas mura ito compared to using BD...with estimated cost of P51+ per full tank if ever....Can be an alternative to BD nga siguro.

    i got it from Ace hardware yata or True value from Sta. lucia at P369...it is a canadian ata. 325ML yung content per bottle.

    Can you really compare this directly with biodiesel? I mean maybe the effects are the same but how about the ingredients of said product?

    i think it's more of those diesel injector cleaners like liqui molys diesel purge that you can get at hansons...i don't plan to regularly use it...effect maybe good for 1 or 2k kms then mix ulit...for me itll be part of my preventive maintenance

    i have tried using bio diesel before (about 2 boxes of those bioexceed courtesy of djerms!) but i have gotten better results so far with this one. maybe matapang sha? i don't know...hehehe. that is just purely based on "feel" with no actual proof or numbers to support.

    0.3 ml per 1 liter of diesel, am i right? medyo matapang to, liit ng ratio eh, need to be exact and proper ang mixing kung hindi, naloko na

    Oberon? Naaaaah.

    Kesyo relatively mahal ang biodiesel, yun pa rin pipiliin ko. It's derived from nature, and its widespread use will be a tremendous help to our coconut farmers, lalo na sa mga kababayan ko sa Bicol. Just give the BD industry time to flourish, and eventually prices will be competitive enough.

    XTO;

    oo, medyo matapang nga cguro concentrated nga due to its ratio, but have tried it na sumobra ng lagay ok naman mas ok pa nga cguro eh kasi mas protected.

    Bogeyman;

    I am not against BD. maganda ito at least meron lang tayo alternative.

    same effect as BD kung ang BD ay may oil content, ito meron din napasin ko. purpose daw nito eh it protects the fuel lines and tanks from water na rust as well as mga rubber fittings for cracks.

    Worth the try kung hindi ka na papa-calibrate so mas cost effective

    If used sa Generator and Steam boiler eh mas mataas pa ration 1:5000
