Yes, it was the O-ring for the 2 blue elbow tubes, got them at GreenFuel.

You're still; using the original vaporizer on your Innova? Had to change mine a couple of years ago at Greenfuel.

On a side note, buying a second hand Innova gas a/t (heck or even a Fort 2.7) then convert it to LPG is something i plan to do in the future. Looks like a good project for a family car.

I thought that if an engine is built to run on unleaded fuel, valve recession on lpg should not be an issue. Why is it that xoom offers an additive that would prevent valve recession?

Is there really a risk of engine damage because of lpg (aside from those running too lean due to improper tuning)?

Most of todays cars are equipped with Hardened valves and valve seats that can resist high temperatures and sturdy enough to operate with LPG as its fuel.
It does not mean that LPG converted vehicles are required to have Valve Saver Fluids installed with the kit yet its a very good precautionary measure to ensure longevity for our engine. Valve seat recession does not happen in an instant it occurs overtime usually reaching mileages of 100,000km - 150,000km before showing real symptoms. Our fuel (gasoline) when injected gives natural lubrication to the valves since its sprayed in liquid form.
LPG on the other hand is injected in gas form and is dry. Valve Saver Fluid adds the lubrication that is missing from LPG thus protecting the Valve seats PLUS its also cleans fuel injectors and fuel system. Hope this helps! Cheers!

Thanks bro! I saw it in your fb page thats why im curious. Btw, please update the picture gallery : -)

I thought there is a cycle of using petrol in SGI systems wherein petrol is sprayed every few minutes. Isnt that supposed to provide some sort of lubrication already or is it just to ensure that injectors remain unclogged?

We have that feature in our software and yes you are correct thsi will already be enough to add lubrication. Though oddly most of our clients do not want it activated as they say it consumes their Petrol faster which is really a bit odd.
I used the Valve Saver on my Forester just to be safe and my usage cycle is 3.5 weeks on LPG the rest of .5 I use Petrol. I do this to make sure my injectors remain in tip top condition and more importantly I get to refresh or refuel by Petrol. (our Petrol or Gasoline now a days have Ethanol which gets stale in about a month of none usage and will lose its Octane power.)

Let me know how I can assist you further. you may also send me a message in our FB site. Cheers!

On motorcycles converted to lpg one feature is the injection of 2t oil for lubrication.
Would adding 2t to your gasoline a good idea for cars with lpg kits?

On the tank type, the donut tank is more expensive by around 1-2K before. I don't know now. In terms of capacity, each design has several capacities depending on the trunk size but i think the cylinder tank has the ability for a larger capacity.

My sgi lpg lovelife suddenly developed a leak , it leaked thru the gas solenoid near the tank.

Unfortunately those fracking people at greenfuel skimped on the plastic flexible hose that would vent the leak outside the car. Did not notice this before because that part was hidden behind the tank.

Its a good thing that xoom offers the use of its leak detector and will repair and rectify the flexible plastic hose problem.

Anybody knows where i can buy an lpg leak detector? The ones at sulit are very expensive.

Did you smell the leak from inside the cabin? Delikado yata yan ah.

Was this your first problem with lpg? How long have you had yours fitted?

My sgi already leaked twice, first is at the solenoid inside the engine bay,di ko naamoy, napansin ko na lang nung nag 4km/l ang oto.

Yung flexible hose that would divert any leak outside the car was cut short by greenfuel (tinipid!).

My sgi would be on its 3rd year this august. I check for leak by spraying with soap and water weekly, pero this time leak detector lang ang nakakita.

This is why I do not anymore recommend Greenfuel for Auto-LPG installation and maintenance. These days I recommend XOOM.

    Hi Raven,

I actually have not converted a Mazda 3 yet. We were able to however calibrate and replace injectors on a Mazda 3. In general it is not a very sensitive car. I think that our Zavoli 'SMILE' kit will have no problems with it. I've used the same kit on a Subaru Forester and have excellent performance and results with it. I'm confident you'll be very satisfied with it as well.

    Cheers!
    Nick

After ko restart ayun uminit n naman at non change over parang lunod so nag gas muna ako til now.

    updates:
Kahapon napalitan na yun vaporizer ko. Zavoli brand yun pinalit and will last 5yrs daw kasi ito ata yun best kita nila so far at kinakabit sa mga private car.
