Auto-LPG Conversion Thread

i currently have a 2004 mazda tribute 3 liter v6. mostly used for city driving and get terrible gas mileage. 5km/l. i use roughly two full tanks a month(120 liters)

just want to inquire:

1.in terms of roi, what would be the best type of lpg system?
2.inquired at denso and as of yesterday, they haven't done a conversion yet on an engine like mine, so they can't give me feedback on how their closed loop system will work on my car.
3.also inquired at greenfuel, and their sgi system for a v6 3 liter engine would cost more than normal. at the price quoted, it would take me a very long time to recover the initial investment
4.is it safe to assume that since i do mostly city driving (and don't mind a bit of power loss), the less expensive closed loop system would be more acceptable in terms of recovering my investment?

Assuming that you aren't too concerned about a few horses lost during LPG operation, definitely Denso's venturi mixer type would have a better ROI than the SGI system since it costs less. Just be careful about DENSO's high cost of "options" like donut tank, etc.

anything i should know? kz baka indi fit ung mga lpg tanks sa focus e.

sa mga dealers/installers ng LPG, how can it be installed sa focus considering its a hatchback?

If the Ford Focus hatchback has a full size spare tire, you can place the 60L or 50L lpg donut fuel tank in the spare tire well. You can then place the spare tire in the "trunk" or replace it with a space saver spare tire.
